JOB DESCRIPTION

In 2023, it was announced that Massive Entertainment is leading the development of Tom Clancy's The Division 3. While we cannot unveil any details about the third entry in the series at this time, we are actively recruiting for the project. 

As a Senior Game Designer your mission will be to develop gameplay systems and designs for our game. You'll collaborate closely with your Lead, Game Director, and other interdisciplinary peers.

What you'll do

  • Manage the design, implementation and tuning of game system features.
  • Work closely with designers, programmers, and artists to implement features from concept to final polish. Be a driving force behind your features, ensuring they are realized at the highest quality and align with the game's vision.
  • Clearly articulate design concepts, systems, and workflows to team members and stakeholders through well-structured documentation and presentations.
  • Be part of developing and evolving the overall gameplay vision together with the Game Director, Lead Game Designers, and the rest of the Design team.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Bring

  • You have extensive experience in designing game systems, with a focus on World, Narrative, UI, and Mission-related systems.
  • You have a keen interest in games, game development and creating the best possible player experience through your craft.
  • You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team with Programmers, Designers, and Animators to name a few; you are comfortable collaborating and communicating in a cross-functional team, by being an efficient communicator.
  • You'll take responsibility and ownership of driving your Design from idea to implementation.
  • You’re open to feedback and enjoy a creative and innovative environment.
