JOB DESCRIPTION
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an online, open world, action shooter RPG, set in a collapsing and fractured Washington, D.C. This rich setting combines a wide variety of beautiful, iconic, and realistic environments in which the player gets to experience the series’ trademark fast-paced action, rich RPG systems and dedication to authenticity in world building.
We are looking for a Product Director to join our team and work on developing the TCTD2 brand forward. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll have a big role in shaping the live game strategy by applying your understanding of the market, target audience and industry trends.
We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.
What You'll Do
- Helping establishing and executing and efficient live marketing strategy in collaboration with Ubisoft’s global publishing teams
- Driving and delivering on all of the planned tactics and activations
- Responsable for and collaborating closely with external agencies on the creation of marketing assets to promote new content (trailers, key arts, etc)
- Streamlining and strengthening the relationship with all our partners and stakeholders.
- Becoming a gatekeeper of the consistency and quality of all assets and presentations produced for the game
- Managing the brand budget.
- Reviewing and obtaining approvals for different transmedia projects based on The Division franchise.
QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll Bring
Your love for video games has brought you here, and your ambition to work in one of the best studios in the world will take you further. You like to talk about movies and TV shows at work and discuss the latest Metacritic on every game that launches. You devour trailers on YouTube and are able to see through them, identifying the marketing thinking behind them. Working under deadlines is nothing new for you and you have mastered the art of keeping them. Being diplomatic, understanding of other group needs and reaching agreements are just a few of the qualities that you are ready to put into good use.
Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
- Relevant experience in the video game industry. Ideally, you’ve worked with different disciplines, have been part of a big company and seen a project through an entire life cycle
- Relevant degree within communications or marketing, or equivalent professional experience
- Great knowledge of the video game market and industry
- Experience or interest in Live Services
- Knowledge of game development methodology and pipelines
- Management experience or experience of having direct reports
- Awareness on production pipeline for creative assets such as concept art, screenshots, video and graphic design
- Demonstrated ability to influence and guide creative efforts and to communicate day-to-day tasks to diverse teams, while effectively communicating feedback and direction
- Advanced written and verbal English communication, as well as presentation and group dynamics skills
