JOB DESCRIPTION

Note: This is a senior individual contributor role, based in Saint-Mandé (France), reporting directly to the Director of Procurement Strategy.

As part of Ubisoft’s corporate headquarters, you’ll join the Group Procurement team. In your role as Category Manager for Facilities and Professional Services, you’ll play a key role in managing indirect spend and optimizing costs related to general services. Positioned at the heart of the organization, you'll be responsible for defining and rolling out global sourcing strategies tailored to the needs of the local procurement teams within your scope. Your work will have a direct impact on spend coverage and procurement effectiveness within your category.

Your missions:

  • Understand and anticipate Ubisoft's needs and challenges in your category, working closely with the various internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of market dynamics and the competitive landscape (including trends, supplier ecosystems, and competitive intelligence). Manage a long-term strategic relationship with key suppliers.

  • Define the procurement strategy for your category (purchasing levers, suppliers panel management plan), as well as the implementation methodology using all the appropriate levers: buy cheaper, buy better, buy less. Define the roadmap for implementing the strategy.

  • Coordinate the implementation of the defined strategy with the procurement directors, buyers, suppliers, internal customers and all other stakeholders. Ensure that the implementation methodology complies with the guidelines of the Director of Procurement Strategy to whom you report.

  • Provide regular support to buyers and stakeholders, especially during high-stakes negotiations or strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Build and lead a network of FPS (Facilities and Professional Services) buyers to manage supplier relationships in a coordinated way. Provide them with organisational support by setting up common processes and tools specific to your category.

  • Measure and monitor the procurement performance of your category (key performance indicators on savings, coverage, supplier panel management, etc.). Continuously improve this performance, and ensure that the strategy is always in line with Ubisoft's evolution and changes in the market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have solid experience as a Buyer or Category Manager, with strong expertise in the Facilities & Professional Services / General Expenses / Indirect Procurement categories. You have already developed global procurement strategies and have a comprehensive understanding of the procurement function.

  • You’re looking to grow in an international environment. You’re fluent in English and French is a strong plus.

  • You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and excellent organizational skills. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a high level of rigor. You also have a strong business acumen.

  • A true team player, you’re a clear communicator, known for your interpersonal skills and your ability to influence.

  • Mastery of the Office package (PPT, Excel) is essential for this position.
