Ubisoft Question Box
How do I prepare my application to Ubisoft?
First of all, carefully read the job description to highlight your experience and skills that you feel are relevant to the position! A well-detailed, personalized CV is sure to make you stand out from the crowd 😉
Cover letter or not? When it comes to choosing, we always prefer a few lines explaining your interest in the internship/work-study program in particular, rather than a long, generic copy/pasted text! In fact, there's a special insert for this purpose when you apply on our website.
I'm not familiar with the video game industry. Is there a place for me at Ubisoft?
Ubisoft has many people in its ranks who are not video game enthusiasts. At Ubisoft, we seek to surround ourselves with people who are passionate about their specialties, their professions and entertainment in general.
What does it mean to be an intern or a trainee at Ubisoft?
At Ubisoft, after a period of training, you'll be given responsible assignments that may evolve throughout your experience with us. No photocopier experience, but real challenges every day!
An internship with us also means getting the best of both worlds: the vision, stability, opportunities and brand catalog of a major international group, but also the freedom, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and friendly working environment of a start-up.
How are interns and trainees supported during their experience at Ubisoft?
Our HR teams are responsible for supporting you throughout your experience. This involves local HR support (answers to day-to-day questions, accompaniment, etc.) and the ongoing development of the Trainees community (Welcome Sessions, dedicated Teams group, Trainees Week, etc.).
I'm disabled, how do I apply?
All our recruitment teams have been made aware of disability issues. You can therefore apply as normal via our Smartrecruiters platform, enclosing your CV and covering letter. If you need to adapt the recruitment process, particularly if it involves video interviews, please specify this when you apply and/or contact the Mission Handicap team by e-mail (boost@ubisoft.com).
