The Telethon is one of the most important charity events in France. Since 1987, the French Muscular Dystrophy Association has funded research projects on genetic neuromuscular diseases and other rare genetic diseases. The French public channel network France Télévisions sets up a marathon on its channels for an entire weekend to support the cause and give it visibility. For the past 2 years, the Telethon and Ubisoft have been calling on the video game community to support the fundraising.

In 2019, Ubisoft was a partner of The Telethon and produced an 8-hour live show on its Twitch and YouTube channels with contributions from Ubisoft studios in Paris, Annecy, Bordeaux, Montpellier and Lyon. More than 80 Ubisoft volunteers worked to bring the stream to life and participate.

Influencers were also present to support The Telethon. The Fairy Dina, TiTavion, Yekais, Mizu, Sofian Le Geek and Keydee streamed, such as Rayman, Just Dance, The Crew, Steep and TrackMania.

In total, more than 16,000 euros were raised.
