The UN-backed Playing for the Planet Alliance brought together some of the biggest names in mobile gaming for a green game jam. Our Future Games of London studio participated to find innovative ways to educate and empower their Hungry Shark players about climate change.

Besides, Future Games of London studio worked with Oceana, an ocean conservation non-profit organisation, to raise awareness of shark preservation through the Hungry Shark games. The team created an expansion pack for Hungry Shark Evolution called ‘Oceana Shark Baby’, with proceeds collected from the expansion pack donated to Oceana. Additionally, the team included full page advertisements for Oceana in the game, and an Oceana-branded in-game item created that could be unlocked by ‘liking’ the Oceana Facebook page, helping drive more traffic to Oceana.
