Star Wars Outlaws™ Composer On Creating a Grammy Nominated Soundtrack

Star Wars™ Outlaws™ is nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The open world Star Wars™ game, available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, and Steam, features a memorable score that honors Star Wars' rich musical history while incorporating new elements fitting for the story of an emerging scoundrel taking their first steps into the galactic underworld. The audio team not only created an immersive soundtrack, but also developed a dynamic music system that responds to the player's actions during gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Cultural Discovery Codex Brings Players Closer to History of Feudal Japan

Assassin's Creed Shadows, launching on March 20, will continue the series' tradition of bringing players closer to history with a section of its database titled "Cultural Discovery". As part of the in-game Codex, this feature offers players carefully selected encyclopedic entries on the history, art, and culture of the Azuchi-Momoyama period. This cultural encyclopedia was written by historians and includes images from museums and institutions.

Prince of Persia 35th Anniversary - A Look Back at the Original Game

Prince of Persia was first released on Apple II computers 35 years ago today, kicking off a legendary adventure series years before Ubisoft created its own entry in 2003. Ubisoft and Riot Games Join Forces to Tackle Harmful Content in Game Chats

Ubisoft and Riot Games have joined forces for a new research project in the pursuit of making online video game spaces safer. Removing ‘harm’ – a complex word with many tendrils of meaning - in video game chats is crucial and ongoing work, and their project, Zero Harm in Comms, aims to ultimately develop a more nuanced and robust framework than anything else available to do just that. It’s an important goal, and one both publishers recognize can only be achieved as a team.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Arab World Institute Partner for Baghdad Exhibition

Assassin's Creed Mirage's setting of ninth-century Baghdad is a recreation of a lost city. The Abbasid Empire-era city no longer stands, but is now the subject of an exhibition at the Arab World Institute (IMA) titled Baghdad: A Journey Back to Madinat al-Salam, with Assassin's Creed Mirage, running now through November 10.

The Wild World of Riders Republic

In the summer of 2020, Ubisoft revealed Riders Republic, an open-world game in which extreme sports fans can explore natural areas and ride alongside their friends and other players. With its colorful art style and party-like vibe, the game preview trailer was an invitation for players to head off the beaten track and forge their own path, on a bike, skis, a snowboard, or in a wingsuit.
