Founded in 2016 by a group of IT and Business students, Kolibri Games is a mobile games studio based in Berlin, Germany. The company’s first title, Idle Miner Tycoon, which was developed in just eight weeks, has achieved over 100 million downloads worldwide as of 2021. Continuously refining its games for long-term success, Kolibri Games has since added several new titles to its growing product portfolio. In February 2020, Kolibri Games was acquired by French gaming giant Ubisoft. The company’s games have amassed millions of downloads, establishing Kolibri Games as a leader in the idle genre.
