In 2016, Ubisoft Philippines opened as the first and only AAA game development studio in the country. We have since grown our team to around 150 strong diverse developers ranging from Programming, Art, Animation, Level Design, and more.
We’ve worked on 10 AAA flagship games – the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, For Honor, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins and The Crew 2, with more to come.
Throughout our journey, we have been committed to building the industry and helping our people grow. We’ve been setting the bar in the AAA video game development scene in the country as we work with our partner school, De La Salle University (DLSU), co-teaching two full degree programs in Interactive Entertainment and holding free talks, art demos, and portfolio reviews to mold the game developers of the future.
A Certified Great Place to Work in the Midst of a Pandemic
We continued supporting our local ecosystem and most importantly, our studio, as the pandemic hit.
We were quick to adapt, rapidly deploying equipment and providing work-from-home arrangements for our team. Even before the pandemic, we had numerous ways to keep the Ubisoft spirit alive though online activities and events. From virtual jamming sessions to game nights, we managed to stay #SeriousAboutFun.
We’re pleased to share that this year, we have been certified as a Great Place to Work – validating our efforts in creating a strong and positive culture within our team.

The official recognition came after Great Place to Work conducted a survey to all our employees gauging levels of trust and pride and the extent to which they enjoy their jobs with their colleagues.
We were happy to see that the results showed that we excelled in credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie – the five key of aspects of the proprietary Trust Model©.
This is proof that our studio values and culture are truly alive in our people. They make up Ubisoft Philippines. They’re the reason why the studio is a great place to work.
