Ubisoft Philippines recently welcomed a vibrant group of local game development talent to its studio in for the Maker of Worlds, a special event in collaboration with Musings Art Academy and Wacom Philippines.
Guests were treated to a guided studio tour, which included a walk through the Ubisoft Philippines art gallery. The tour offered a glimpse into the studio’s rich history and its contributions to Ubisoft's AAA flagship titles.
The event featured inspiring talks from JP Tan, Art Director at Ubisoft Philippines, and Raymond Tan, Art Director and founder of Musings Art Academy. Both speakers shared insights into their creative journeys, the evolving landscape of AAA game development art, and valuable advice on building industry-ready portfolios.

Afterwards, a panel discussion featuring Ubisoft Philippines team members from various departments including Art, Project Management, Animation, Programming, Quality Assurance, Game Design, and Technical Design was held. The panel offered attendees a rare opportunity to hear firsthand about building careers in game development.
To cap off the event, a raffle draw added excitement for lucky winners taking home exclusive prizes such as the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collector’s Case and a Wacom Tablet.

Maker of Worlds showed that there is boundless potential in the local gaming industry in the Philippines.
