Since 2006, Ubisoft Sofia has been constantly and sustainably growing, both in terms of project scope and number. We are always on the lookout for talented professionals to join our teams and help us create the games of the future. What is the selection process? Once you submit your application through the careers website, your profile is reviewed in detail by our recruiters. Artists are always required to submit a portfolio. For all positions, selected candidates are asked to take a test to assess specific skills and relevant competencies. Candidates meeting the job requirements are invited for an interview with the respective team lead. In some cases, the HR manager and the team lead will interview you together. This is also the time to ask any questions about the job, the studio, and what it’s like working for us.

How should I prepare my application? Always prepare your application in relation to the type of job you want to pursue. Your CV and cover letter should tell us about your studies, the skills you learned at school/university or at your previous employments, the activities you prefer doing in your free time, and the job you are interested in and why. But what we value the most is what you are able to do and show us. Developing your own portfolio, projects, or game prototypes is what will help you the most in front of our recruiters and team leads. Document your project experience and clearly explain the context of your work. Focus on quality rather than quantity.
