YOUR GUIDE TO THE EUROPEAN FINALS 2021

With Stage 3 of the regional leagues and the Six Sweden Major in the books, European teams in Rainbow Six Esports now turn to the European Finals, which will take place online across two separate weekends, on December 11 to 12 and December 18 to 19.

While the top 4 teams from the European League will battle it out for the prize pool and bragging rights to be called the best team in the region, we will also witness 3 contenders, the top 2 teams from this season’s European Challenger League and the 9th ranking team in the European League, fight to accede or remain in the next season of the European League.

DATES

The European Finals will be held online at the following dates:

  • December 11: European League Semi-Finals
  • December 12: European Challenger League Final
  • December 18: European League promotion/relegation match
  • December 19: European League 3rd place deciding match & European League Grand Final

PARTICIPATING TEAMS

The European Finals will host the European League Finals, the European Challenger League Final and the European League promotion/relegation match.

Based on the cumulative rankings from all three stages of the European League 2021 season, here are the top 4 teams qualified for the European League Finals:

  • Team BDS
  • Team Empire
  • Natus Vincere
  • G2 Esports

Here are the 2 teams that will compete in the European Challenger League Final:

  • MNM Gaming
  • HellRaisers

While the winner will be promoted to the next season of the European League, the loser will battle it out against Team Secret, ranked 9th in this season’s European League, in the promotion/relegation match that will decide the final team to compete in the European League 2022 season.

COMPETITIVE FORMAT

The European League Semi-Finals will be played in a Best-of-3 match on December 11. On December 19, the losers from both Semi-Finals will play against each other in a Best-of-3 to decide the 3rd and 4th place, while the winners from both Semi-Finals will battle it out for the crown in a Best-of-5 Grand Final.

On December 12, the top 2 teams from this season’s European Challenger League will compete in a Best-of-5 Final, with the winner claiming one of two spots for the next season of the European League.

The loser of this match will have to face Team Secret, which ranked 9th in this season of the European League, in a promotion/relegation match. The winner will claim the final spot for the next season of the European League, while the loser will compete in the next season of the European Challenger League.

EUROPEAN LEAGUE FINALS PRIZE POOL

The total prize pool for the European League Finals will be €100,000. It will be divided across the top 4 European League teams based on their ranking in the European League Finals:

  • 1st place: €50,000
  • 2nd place: €25,000
  • 3rd place: €15,000
  • 4th place: €10,000

During the Regional League Finals, across all regions, viewers will earn 1 pack every 4 hours watched, with a maximum cap of 3 packs per week.

Here are the details on how to redeem them:

Register your account by heading over to https://drops-register.ubi.com and link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account. You will then be prompted to opt into the drops feature. Please make sure that your account is linked before you tune in to the broadcast.

All drops will need to be claimed manually. You can track all the Drops progression on the Inventory page https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory. When the Drops condition is reached, you will need to click on the “Claim” button in the Inventory page to claim the reward and continue the progression towards the next reward. Please note that the “Claim” button will be available only 24 hours after the end of the campaign (the final playday of the Regional Finals). The delivery of claimed items will usually be done 48 hours after the end of the Regional Finals.

More information: Twitch Drops are activated for all five platforms the game is currently available on: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You do not currently need to own Rainbow Six Siege to be able to earn drops. If you have your Twitch account linked to your Ubisoft account, and your Ubisoft account has been linked with your console accounts or PC, then you will receive the items when you login for the first time after installing.
