## Format Explainer Rainbow Six Siege players, get ready for the new edition of R6 South Breach 2026! With overall 680 circuit points still to assign, this is your last major chance to qualify for [EML Challenger Circuit](https://r6esports.com/competition-hub/region/eml/challenger-circuit) Playoffs. Tournament will be split into three phases:
### Phase 1 - QUALIFIERS This year there will be three open qualifiers, with each qualifier awarding points toward the overall standings. After all, three qualifiers have been completed, teams' final standings will be determined by the combined points from their two best qualifier results. If a team competes in all three qualifiers, only the two best results will be counted. Phase 1 matches are open to community casting. ### Phase 2 - GROUP STAGE The Group Stage will change this year with a new format of four groups of four teams in a single round-robin format, effectively doubling the number of teams advancing to this stage. ### Phase 3 - PLAYOFFS The playoffs will feature an 8-team double elimination bracket, with teams finishing second in the group stage starting in the Lower Bracket.
