Invite two friends to play 14 days of Rainbow Six Extraction for free with you, from any platform, even if they don't own the game.
The Buddy Pass is a feature included with every full game copy of Rainbow Six Extraction, which allows you to enjoy 14 days of play with two of your friends on any platform, even if they don't own the game.
Each full game copy of Rainbow Six Extraction includes 2 Buddy Pass tokens that can be used to invite your friends.
Your friends must first download and launch the Trial Version of Rainbow Six Extraction from their favorite storefront. Once they have activated Rainbow Six Extraction, you will be able to directly send your friends a Buddy Pass invitation through the in-game Friends List menu. Afterwards, you can invite them to any online session for 14 days.
The Trial Version of Rainbow Six Extraction gives any player the opportunity to try the game for up to 2 hours for free. While the game is running, a 2-hour timer will deplete.
The Trial Version can also be used to join the squad of a friend who invited you with a Buddy Pass token, allowing for 14 additional days of gameplay. When you play with your friend using the Buddy Pass, the 2-hour timer for the Trial is paused. The 2-hour timer will resume anytime you play without your friend.
The Buddy Pass invitation will expire 14 days after initial activation. The Trial timer starts as soon as the invited player passes the in-game title screen.
Once the Buddy Pass invitation expires, the invited player will only be able to join the game sessions of the full game owner if trial time is still available or if a full game owner gives them a new Buddy Pass token.
If they still had time left on their Free Trial of the game, they will be able to resume their trial period and continue to play.
If either the Buddy Pass or Free Trial timer end while in a session, the trial player normally continues the session. If both timers are depleted, the trial player will not be able to join a new game session without owning the full game.
