An update about the November Six Major
September 8, 2020The Six August 2020 Major has been a blast, offering high-level Rainbow Six competitive action across the regions. While we are close to kick-off the 2020 Season - Stage 2 of the Rainbow Six Esports regional leagues, we have new information to share regarding the Six November Major. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will continue with a regional format with one online Major per region (North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific), which will be the last step to earn points in the race towards a qualification for the Six Invitational. We know that the community is as eager as we are to watch global competitions and faceoffs between teams from different regions, however the health and well-being of our teams, developers, players, partners and fans remains our number one priority. We thank all of you for your support and understanding, and are happy to share with you the first details of the November Six Major.

Save the dates in your calendars, the schedule for each of the regional Majors is as follows:
- Latin America: October 30 – November 1st
- Europe: November 6 – 8
- North America: November 13 -15
- Asia-Pacific: November 25 - 29
prize pools
The four regional Majors will follow a similar prize pool breakdown as the Six August 2020 Major’s. Teams will battle it out for their share of the $125,000 USD being allocated to each region.
North America
- 1st place: 50% [$62,500]
- 2nd place: 25% [$31,250]
- 3rd place: 15% [$18,750]
- 4th place: 10% [$12,500]
Europe
- 1st place: 50% [$62,500]
- 2nd place: 25% [$31,250]
- 3rd place: 15% [$18,750]
- 4th place: 10% [$12,500]
Latin America
In Latin America, the $125,000 total prizepool of the November Six Major will be split as follows :
Brazil Division:
- 1st place: 40% [$50,000]
- 2nd place: 20% [$25,000]
- 3rd place: 12% [$15,000]
- 4th place: 8% [$10,000]
Mexico Division final match:
- 1st place: 8% [$10,000]
- 2nd place: 5.6% [$7,000]
Top LATAM South Division team: 6.4% [$8,000]
Asia-Pacific
In Asia-Pacific, the $125,000 total prizepool of the Six August 2020 Major will be split as follows:
North Division:
- 1st place: 20.48% [$25,600]
- 2nd place: 13.44% [$16,800]
- 3rd place: 10.24% [$12,800]
- 4th place: 8.32% [$10,400]
- 5th place: 6.40% [$8,000]
- 6th place: 5.12% [$6,400]
Oceania:
- 1st place: 12% [$15,000]
- 2nd place: 7.20% [$9,000]
- 3rd place: 4.80% [$6,000]
South Asia:
- 1st place: 6% [$7,500]
- 2nd place: 3% [$3,750]
- 3rd place: 1.80% [$2,250]
- 4th place: 1.20% [$1,500]
In addition, an Operator bundle will be produced for the Major. 30% of the net revenue from these items will contribute to the prize pool which will be split evenly between the 4 regions: Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The breakdown within each region will then follow the same structure as the Major’s main prize pool.
The November Major Operator Bundle will be revealed later this month.
how to get a spot
The North American region will see 4 teams compete in the online November Six Major. At the end of Stage 2, the top 3 US Division teams will be automatically invited to join the Major. The 4th team will be selected through a North American Qualifier opposing the 4th, 5th and 6th ranking teams of the US Division and 1st place team of the Canada Division.
In Europe, the top 4 teams at the end of the Stage 2 of the European League will qualify to compete online in the Major.
In Latin America, at the end of Stage 2:
- The top 4 teams from the Brazil Division will compete online in the Major.
- The top 2 teams from the Mexico Division will compete online in a Division final Bo5 match.
- Finally, the winning team of the LATAM South Division will also get a share of the total prize money.
In Asia-Pacific, at the end of Stage 2:
- The top 6 teams from the North Division will compete online in the Major
- The top 3 teams from the Oceanic Nationals will compete online in the Major
- The top 4 teams from the South Asia Nationals will compete online in the Major

Similarly to Stage 1, the revamp of the November Six Major will lead to the same adjustments in the way points for the Global Standings will be distributed during Stage 2.

The LATAM and APAC regions will have teams from their sub-regions (respectively Brazil, Mexico, LATAM South and APAC North & South) ranked in the regional top 8 as follows:
Stage 2 – Latin-America Top 8
Stage 2 – Asia-Pacific Top 8
