The Asia-Pacific Six August 2020 Major that ended early August and saw South-Korean team Cloud9 crowned APAC North Major Champions over expected favorites Giants Gaming. With this victory, Cloud9 proved they are a force to be reckoned with in the APAC North Division. The community also witnessed the impressive performances of Wildcard Gaming and Union Gaming in the South Division, crowned Oceanic and South Asia Major Champions, respectively. While the teams are taking a short break to prepare for the upcoming competitions, we are thrilled to announce that the Asia-Pacific League North Division will be back on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 for the beginning of Stage 2. Earlier this month, the Oceanic Nationals will start on September 16th.
As we are getting closer to the Six Invitational, the Asia-Pacific League Stage 2 will be crucial for competing teams looking to score points in the Global Standings with hopes of earning a spot for the Six Invitational and a first triumph for the region at the most prestigious Rainbow Six Esports competition.
