We are updating Ubisoft’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Below is a recap of the key changes.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Ubisoft, we are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use your personal data. As part of this commitment, we have updated our Privacy policy.

What’s changing?

We have updated the Privacy Policy to explain:

  • The data we collect and how it is used

  • How you can manage your rights in the Privacy Center

  • Give you information about how your data is handled for new features and services

We have also introduced additional resources, including:

What does this mean for you?

Your experience with Ubisoft remains the same. These changes do not affect:

  • Your ability to access or play our games

  • Your Ubisoft account or progression

  • Your existing privacy choices

We encourage you to review the updated Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we handle your personal data.

TERMS OF USE

Among other updates, the Terms of Use have been updated to provide you with more detailed information on:

  • Our Family Settings which enable children and teens to access our games and services by creating a Child or Teen account and the settings available to them as well as to their parents/legal guardians to ensure an age-appropriate experience (Article 3 which replaces and enhances our former on access to our services by minors).

  • Our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful gaming environment. To do so, we have created a new article 7 dedicated to our approach to player safety. This article gives more details on how we enforce our player safety policies designed to prevent, detect and sanction prohibited behaviour at Ubisoft, and merges existing articles about rules of conduct, sanctions we may take to ensure a fair and safe environment, how you can report illegal and/or harmful content to us and on how we handle your reports.

  • Updates and changes we may make to digital content and services, as well as your applicable consumers rights and warranties, depending on your country of residence and when you can exercise them (article 5 and article 10). We have created a new article 5 which revamps our already existing article on this topic and aims at providing you with more granularity on our already existing policy.

  • Our obligation to delete inactive accounts to comply with data privacy laws and how you will be notified prior to any deletion (Article 8). Here, we have revised the existing article about the termination of a Ubisoft account at our initiative to more clearly articulate the scenarios under which we may delete inactive accounts in compliance with Data Privacy Regulations, and what steps you can take to avoid such deletion before it becomes effective. You may also find details in our dedicated Help article.

  • The update of our arbitration agreement for US residents (Article 16). We have added a new batch processing procedure that applies when many similar claims are filed with the American Arbitration Association (known as “mass arbitration”).

With this update, we wanted to provide all users with a single version of the Terms of Use applicable worldwide. This may result in changes to numbering or paragraphs compared to your current version. Where needed, we specified if a given article of paragraph applies to residents of specific countries.

You will have until March 20th, 2026 to accept the updated Terms of Use. They will become effective for you and for all our users on such date, unless you accept them earlier.

If you do not agree to the changes, you can request the closure of your Ubisoft account on the Account Management Page.
