This Week in The Division 2 – April 8

Season 1 – Shadow Tide for The Division 2: Warlords of New York continues this week with the launch of Northeast League, a series of challenges and progression levels featuring time trials, high difficulty missions, and unique enemy eliminations. Leagues are meant to test your skills, so be prepared when jumping in. You can participate in the Leagues either solo or in a group, using the game’s existing group/matchmaking system.

The Northeast League is open for two weeks, so make sure you give it a try before it closes. Don’t worry if you miss it, as there will be future Leagues focusing on different factions, missions, and challenges throughout the Season. Northeast League offers players 10 additional rewards, including two unique cosmetic items and an exotic cache.

__ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & ROLLBACK REMINDER __

  • The one-week suspensions issued in relation to the weapon “DPS Glitch” were lifted yesterday.
  • All accounts suspended due to extensive exploiting of the glitch have now been rolled back to a March 17th, 2020 save. All account progress gained during this period is lost. We consider this action final.

__DEVELOPMENT UPDATE __

Title Update 8.5 was released yesterday, introducing a number of fixes and balancing changes. Full patch notes can be found on our official forums.

The next update in the pipeline is Title Update 9, tentatively scheduled for late April. TU9 will continue the ongoing work towards improved game health and balancing changes based on community feedback. As we get closer to its release, we will be sharing all the details on what to expect, but as a small tease, we can confirm that it will introduce the ability to upgrade exotics to Level 40.

__STREAMING UPDATE __

We made the decision to cancel this week’s State of the Game as one of our hosts is out-of-office due to personal circumstances. We aim to continue our working from home State of the Game streams as soon as possible, stay tuned!

That’s it for this week!

Until next time,
