The Crew® 2 Summer in Hollywood: free for all players on July 8

Our next free update - The Crew® 2 Summer in Hollywood - will be available to all The Crew® 2 players on July 8. Read on for all the details on what to expect, or click here for the Patch 1.7.0 Notes.

The Crew® 2 Summer in Hollywood will reprise the model of an initial content drop on July 8, followed by regular new vehicles, vanity items and LIVE Summits spread out over the coming months. And this time, we’re also adding new events!

Immerse yourself in your favorite cinema memories and experience brand-new events that pay tribute to some of the most famous universes ever created. From Sci-Fi to desert dunes or even the 80’s, enjoy new themed vehicles and show that you’re nothing short of Hollywood’s latest star!

These events will release alongside the corresponding themed LIVE Summits, and will give you the opportunity to experience nostalgic moods, dedicated new music and unique opponents. They will also remain permanently available in PvE, to replay as many times as you like.

As ever, you’ll be getting a full new batch of LIVE Summits running every week, including a premium Summit once per month with an exclusive reward up for grabs.

Head over to our latest This Week in TC2 article for all the information on the first LIVE Summit instalment: Roll Out!

Our latest additions are as varied as they are iconic! Some will be available as soon as The Crew® 2 Summer in Hollywood goes live, and others will be rolled out in regular drops thereafter via both the Shop and the LIVE Summit. Here’s a quick sneak peek:

First up, you spotted it in the trailer and can take it through its Street Race paces from July 8: it’s the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (2020).

Joining the Hypercar discipline on July 8 and flying the Swedish flag high: it’s the Koenigsegg One:1 (2014).

If you prefer a vintage aesthetic, then these two classic VWs will be right up your alley when they drop into the Street Race discipline on July 15: the Volkwagen Beetle (1967) and the Volkswagen Kombi 21 Window Bus (1966).

And for those who like to showcase a variety of styles in their vehicle collection, beginning July 15 the Elite Bundle 5 will feature three exclusive vehicles for one month:

• Porsche 935 2.0 Coupé « Baby » (1977) – Touring Car
• Nissan R390 GT1 Road Version (1998) – Hypercar
• Ducati draXter (2016) – Street Race Bike

Additions to existing vanity types will continue to be added on a weekly basis, including special dedicated items during our themed weeks.

You can expect:

• 9 Custom Nitros
• 2 Horns
• 8 Window Tints
• 6 Emotes
• 6 Smokes
• 10 Tires
• 7 Underglows

In addition to the above content, The Crew® 2 Summer in Hollywood will introduce new Motocross handling, animations, and camera angles. The team’s aim was to make the MX experience both more fun and truer to real life. We hope you enjoy it!

As ever, day 1 of the update is just the beginning! We’ll be adding new content regularly, so keep your eyes peeled for our weekly and monthly articles recapping everything we’re rolling out to Motornation.

See you on the road on July 8, Gearheads.
