CHAOS IS SPREADING IN YEAR 2 SEASON 1
As the Franco-Dutch War escalates, the world is thrown into an arms race for Ascended weaponry. With greater threats looming in a second World Tier and vicious PvP battles in Death Tides (coming mid-season), the Indian Ocean is thrown into a world of chaos.
Skull and Bones Year 2: Ascent into Chaos is now available, bringing new features and improvements to the Indian Ocean:
The new Item Ascension feature allows you to upgrade your gear in powerful new ways---boosting base damage and adding unique modifications that impact gameplay.
World Tiers are optional levels of difficulty for different challenges in the world, starting with World Tier 2 in Season 1.
The Helm endgame experience is also getting a revamp. You will now be able to produce crafting materials at your own manufactories, providing the essential items needed to grow in strength. The new Helm Upgrade Tree will give you the flexibility to shape your Empire as you see fit, with new perks and upgrades.
Death Tides, a brand-new PvP team-based mode, will arrive mid-season. Death Tides matches take place in one of four unique maps, Brimstone, Sanctuary, Sunken Ruins, and Mukiti Falls, and all rewards and XP earned will carry over to the main game and Smuggler Pass.
