The title alone earns its place in October. "Dead & Bloated", from Stone Temple Pilots' 1992 debut Core, joins Rocksmith+ with bass, lead guitar, piano and a chord chart, and takes its place in the Rocksmithstein playlist alongside the rest of the season's darker picks.
What makes it worth a look beyond the spooky season framing is that piano part. Core is a guitar record first and foremost, all downtuned weight and slow-burn riffs, so an authentic piano arrangement gives keyboard players a way into a song they would normally only ever hear from the other side of a distortion pedal. For guitarists, the bass and lead parts are the fastest route to the riff everyone recognises from the opening seconds.
