Q: Why do you need a license?
A tournament license is mandatory to organize your tournament. It ensures your event follows our community standards. It helps us protect players, support organizers, and maintain the integrity of Rainbow Six Siege. Licensing also ensures legal compliance and allows your tournament to gain visibility on r6esports.com - Competition Hub, allowing players to discover upcoming tournaments.
Q: What is the cost of the license?
There is no fee for the application or the use of the license.
Q: When should you apply for a license?
License request can be submitted as much in advance as possible, as soon as you have all the information needed (see table below).
Q: How long does it take to process my request?
- Community tournaments are automatically approved, and only their promotion has to be reviewed.
- Custom licenses have to be reviewed and approved by our league operators. Timing may vary based on the complexity of the request.

Q: How to get your tournament published on Competition Hub?
First, you need to apply for a tournament license and give consent to publish your tournament. If your tournament is open to public registration, you must provide a tournament link and registration dates in the license request form. A publicity review will be conducted by Ubisoft upon approved license request.
Q: Will I be contacted if my tournament is published/unpublished?
There won't be any notification when your tournament is published/unpublished.

Q: What are the requirements for the promotional image?
- Recommended ratio: 16:9; max size: 50MB; accepted formats: webp, jpeg, png.
- If the uploaded image does not meet the recommended ratio, it will be automatically resized and may be cropped upon display.
