We are Ubisoft Future Games of London, a London-based game studio specialising in original free to play games for mobile and tablet devices.
“Ubisoft Future Games of London is a modern and diverse games studio based in central London. We focus exclusively on mobile games, designing and creating a range of products from free-to-play arcade games to premium virtual reality experiences. We believe our games have an immediate global appeal, recognition and understanding. With new IPs under production, we look forward to an exciting future as the only Ubisoft mobile studio in UK."
– Ian Harper, Managing Director, Ubisoft Future Games of London.
We create wholly owned and original IP which by January 2021 had achieved over 840 million downloads worldwide following the success of the Hungry Shark series.
One of our main objectives is to understand what players enjoy within our mobile games and then optimising the levels of play we can then offer on smartphones and tablets. This allows us to make better products, more relevant updates and to retain an active and engaged audience of fans.
Since October 2013, FGOL has been part of the Ubisoft family with the intent of developing even bigger and better games. With approaching 1 billion downloads of our Hungry Shark games, we’re now focusing on creating original multiplayer games with the potential to reach similar heights.
We see it as a privilege to be making successful games, but at Ubisoft FGOL our ambitions don’t stop there - Ubisoft FGOLers also enjoy giving back through both actions in the studio and raising awareness and donations for environmental causes through our games, and we’re passionate about developing the next generation of talent.”
At Ubisoft FGOL, our culture is at the core of who we are and what we do. The Mission, Vision and Values we operate by has been created to strengthen us as a studio and to set us up for a future where we continue to excel as part of the UK’s vibrant games industry.
But, what does culture really mean in the context of work and more specifically at FGOL? Put simply - workplace culture defines the character and personality of our organisation. Importantly, having a positive workplace culture is vital to delivering high quality care and support.
We want to be the most exciting games studio in London. Central to this are the games we create but we can’t forget the other elements that make Ubisoft FGOL an exciting place work, however. We’re also happy to be able to celebrate our diverse workforce, offer a wide range of training to our staff, enable unique career opportunities, and relish in the fun we have as a studio.
We write our own rules here, and it’s important to encourage and support each other in our journeys. Together we are stronger and together we’ll achieve our vision.
Our culture is anchored by four key values that everyone who works at FGOL adopts and lives by. Watch the video to find out more.
