This Stage will be pivotal to grab a slot for the upcoming Six Major and score points in the Global Standings with hopes of earning a spot for the Six Invitational 2023.

Here are some key information, including an update on the Asia-Pacific League Playoffs, schedules, and where to watch links.

an update on the asia-pacifc league playoffs

The span of the Asia-Pacific region created technical challenges for teams competing in Stage 1 of the Asia-Pacific League Playoffs this season. We have been closely monitoring the situation that unfolded and in direct response to the feedback we received from pros and fans after those matches, as well as follow-up discussions with our partner organizations, we have decided to remove the APAC League Playoffs tournaments.

Fostering and maintaining a highly competitive league that reflects the values of Rainbow Six Esports will always be one of our top priorities. Starting with Stage 2, the top 2 teams from the North Division and the top 2 teams from the South Division in the final rankings of each Stage will directly qualify to the Major. We value our community and partners and are committed to continue discussing topics of concern that may rise in our ecosystem.

Following this change, the prize pool distribution and Global Standings Points allocation for the Asia-Pacific League have been adapted accordingly.

Prize pool distribution for the North and South Divisions according to stage rankings:

  • 1st place: $20,000 USD

  • 2nd place: $10,000 USD

  • 3rd place: $6,000 USD

  • 5th place: $3,000 USD

  • 6th place: $3,000 USD

  • 7th place: $2,000 USD

  • 8th place: $1,500 USD
