The health and well-being of our teams, developers, players and partners is our first priority. We have taken the difficult decision to cancel May’s Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Season XI Finals in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as well as the APAC Finals LAN event through which the teams from the Asia-Pacific region would have qualified for the Season XI Finals.

While we're obviously disappointed that these events won't be going ahead, we are excited for the continued growth of Rainbow Six esports and look forward to the kick-off of our new regionalized esports program.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR SEASON XI

• APAC Finals and Pro League Finals prize pool distribution

Following the cancellation of the Season XI May Finals and the APAC Finals, the prize pools dedicated to those events will be split among the regions and top teams as follows:

Total amount to be distributed: $50,000

The total amount of this event’s prize pool will be split evenly between the 4 sub-regions that are part of the APAC region: Japan, South Korea, Oceania, South East Asia.

The teams that will rank 1st place at the end of the online season in each sub-region will get $7,500

The teams that will rank 2nd place at the end of the online season in each sub-region will get $5,000.

Total amount to be distributed: $290,000.

The total amount of this event’s prize pool will be shared evenly among the 4 regions of Pro League. $72,500 will be distributed to each region as follows:

For Europe, North America and Latin America:

• The teams that will rank 1st place at the end of the online season in those regions will each get $50,000.

• The teams that will rank 2nd place at the end of the online season in in those regions will each get $22,500.

  For Asia-Pacific:

• The amount dedicated to the region - $72,500 – will be split evenly between the 4 sub-regions that are part of the APAC region: Japan, South Korea, Oceania, South East Asia.
• The teams that will rank 1st place at the end of the online season in each sub-region will each get $12,500.
• The teams that will rank 2nd place at the end of the online season in each sub-region will get $5,625.

UPDATE ON THE SECOND HALF OF ONLINE PRO LEAGUE

The Pro League online season will continue with the same format and the prize pool of the online season will be split as usual amongst all participating teams.

While fitting into a coherent global frame, the 4 existing regions – Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific –decide on the specifics of their regional program, whether it is their partners, their formats or the way the regional program fuels the global program. Building upon what was created over the past 4 years of Rainbow Six esports with Pro League and national tournaments, regionalizing our program is the natural next step to enhance the specificities and successes of each region. It will allow for a stronger focus on local specificities and an increased diversity in the different choices of programs we offer. All of this will feed into one exciting global race towards a qualification for the Six Invitational, the pinnacle of the Rainbow Six competitive year.
