Today is World Photo Day, so we wanted to take a moment and give a shoutout to the ongoing Green Committee Summer Photo Challenge that was launched back in July.
The Green Committee put a call out to ask team members to submit photos they had taken whilst out in nature, whether it was locally or while travelling on holidays.
The theme for this photography challenge was "The Natural World". Take a look at our favourite 5 submissions so far!
First up is by Emily Abbott, who captured this photo of a bee pollenating.

Next is from Dharini Thirupathi, who snapped a chital in Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.

Continuing the animal theme, we have this photo from Sammy Hanvy of a puffin on the Farne Islands. (Sammy also took the photo of the puffin eating fish at the top of this news story!)

This striking peacock butterfly was photographed by Vojtěch Kudela in the Czech Republic.

And finally, this photo of a sleepy bee napping in Raniel Sales sunflower box.

We can't wait to see all future submissions.
