Version 26.0.0 - Patch Notes

Hello Dancers!  

We've got exciting news. The latest Just Dance update is here, and it's all about taking your dance journey to the next level!

This year, we're introducing Party Mode for our whole platform, so Just Dance 2023,2024,2025 and 2026 Editions! A fresh new way to play with friends and family. It's packed with fun challenges, unexpected twists and plenty of surprises to keep everyone on their toes.

And that's not all...

We're officially launching the Camera Controller Mode in Just Dance 2026 Edition! You can now dance completely hands-free using the Just Dance Controller App. Your full-body movements will be tracked for even more accurate scoring - so get ready to show off your moves!

NEW FEATURE: Party Mode

  • Introducing our new game mode with alternating short songs and various gameplay modifiers.
  • Players can choose how long and difficult they want their session to be.
  • Each session is made up of shortened songs.
  • During each song, players will face gameplay challenges like "Simon Says" rules and visual distractions.
  • Those who manage to complete the full session can expect a surprise at the end - something to reward the effort and add a fun twist to the experience.

NEW free experience Token System

  • Players who log in without owning an Annual Edition of Just Dance 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 will receive a set number of free Tokens.
  • Tokens can be used to access songs from the latest Annual Edition.
  • One Token allows one play session on a selected song.
  • One players run out of tokens, they can still keep playing 2 songs in unlimited access.

Visual and interface improvements

  • New artistic direction aligned with the Party Mode theme.

  • Updated dance flow interface for a more modern presentation.

  • Improved redirection from unowned songs in custom playlists to their respective purchase pages.

  • Improved wording of popups related to Music Pack purchases during the free experience, for better clarity and user understanding.

  • General polish and minor interface fixes.

Camera Controller Mode

  • The Just Dance mobile companion app has been renamed Just Dance Controller.
  • The camera controller mode is now officially out of Beta mode and considered stable for regular use in Just Dance 2026 Edition. "Beta" mentions have been removed from the game.
  • All choreos from Just Dance 2025 and2026 Edition are compatible with this game mode. Others songs might be as well on Just Dance+ or previous games editions.

Main Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Nintendo Switch™ directional pad stopped functioning after the last update.

  • Resolved a bug where the camera controller mode pause menu screen appeared after reconnecting the device during camera controller scoring.

  • Fixed a problem where the cursor was unable to move after connecting a camera controller for the first time via the Group bar in the Coach selection screen.
