1V1 NOW by XBOX GAME PASS is a brand-new tournament focused entirely on 1v1 competition. Open to PC players aged 18 and over in eligible regions, it invites competitors of all skill levels to participate by registering through Challenger Mode and taking up the challenge.

Whether you're a seasoned competitor or entering your first event, this is your chance to join a structured competition and fight for real rewards. Each competitive region will be entitled to its own Open Qualifier: EML, SAL, NAL, and APL.

At the end of each Open Qualifier, the top four players from each region will compete against each other, and the best player from each region will be invited to play in the finals at the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris!

In addition to an invitation to the Six Invitational 2026, including airfare and accommodation, the final four players will share a total prize pool of 5,000€!

format

phase 1

• The Open Qualifier will take place in December
  
  • No overlaps with SI 2026 LCQ
• Open to all skill levels (Amateurs and Pro Players)
• A Leaderboard will be available on Challenger Mode based on match results (Using the Elo system from Challenger Mode)
• The top 4 players from each region will advance to the Closed Qualifier
  
  • For the APL region, each sub-region will have its own qualifier (APAC North, Asia, Oceania)
• Schedule (All Regions):
  
  • Week 1 - Begins December 1
  • Week 2 - Begins December 8
  • Week 3 - Begins December 15
  • Week 4 - Begins December 22
    • Be sure to check Challenger Mode for your region's start times

phase 2

• The Closed Qualifier will take place in January
• Double Elimination Bracket in Best-of-3 over the course of the weekend
• The 4 best players from each region will compete but only 1 will be qualified for Phase 3
  
  • For APL, we will be able to qualify 2 players from APAC NORTH, 1 player from ASIA, 1 player from OCEANIA - these 4 players will travel to Japan to play the offline playoffs during APAC CUP to decide the final player from APL

  • SAL - January 10-11
  • APL - January 11-12
  • NAL - January 17-18
  • EML - January 17-18

phase 3

• Finals will take place at the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris
• The 4 best players will compete - 1 player per region
• Semi-finals will take place on Saturday, February 14
• Grand final will take place on Sunday, February 15

The top 4 players from Phase 2 will be invited to the Six Invitational 2026. Ubisoft will cover flights, on-site catering, on-site transport, and accommodation.

The semi-finals will be played on Saturday, February 14 and will be livestreamed on the official R6 Esports channel. The grand final will be played on stage on Sunday, February 15 and will also be livestreamed on the official R6 Esports channel.
