Halloween gets a full week this year. Three tracks are free to play from October 26 at 7:00 AM PST to November 2 at 7:00 AM PST, on PC, PlayStation, iOS and Android, with no subscription needed to plug in: John Fogerty's "Bad Moon Rising (John's Version)", Ghost's "Square Hammer" and Black Veil Brides' "Hallelujah".
Heading the list is "Bad Moon Rising", in John Fogerty's own re-recorded version for Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John's Version). Fogerty has said the song was inspired by The Devil and Daniel Webster, a 1941 film in which a hurricane strikes, and it still runs on that contradiction: a bright, cheerful tune carrying very bleak lyrics. It also plays in An American Werewolf in London.
Free All Week: 3 Tracks
- John Fogerty - Bad Moon Rising (John's Version)
- Ghost - Square Hammer
- Black Veil Brides - Hallelujah
