Feature improvements / New features

• Mobile

  • Added a free experience on mobile that will allow non-subscribers to try the game with a restricted library before deciding if they wish to purchase a subscription.

• Noteway Pause

  • The Song Controller has been added. With it, you can granularly move through a song or snap between phrases without needing to use Riff Repeater.

• Piano Audio

  • When using a MIDI device, a new option can be seen under "My Instrument" in the settings menu called "Midi Velocity Curve". This can help you fine tune how loud your instrument should be with a given amount of force.

  • You can now play Piano with Phone as a Mic (through the Rocksmith Tuner app), Real Tone Cable, and other Interfaces.

• Piano Noteway

  • Added three new customization options that allow you to turn off hand zones, the flashing prompts when using Note by Note mode, and the changing colors of the Side Rails that go along the sides of the noteway.

  • Added a new density preset, "Persistent Turbo", that has the same behavior of the "Persistent" preset but is faster.

• Sheet Music

  • Some changes have been made to improve the UI in Riff Repeater when Sheet Music is active.

• Song Details / Tuner

  • The term "Custom Tuning" should now be replaced with the note names so you know what tuning you should be tuning to.

Major Bug Fixes

Riff Repeater

• An issue was fixed where the end position of the bracket in Sheet Music was one measure behind the end position of the specified phrase, in Riff Repeater.

Piano

• All Fingerprints can now be played in the C Major Chord (Step 2: Left Hand) and (Complete) lessons.

• A crash was fixed that would occur during the first-time tutorial, when switching from guitar to piano.

• An issue was fixed where the end bracket of a selected phrase would not appear in Sheet Music, when the last phrase of the song was selected to practice.

• An issue was fixed where the game would crash when selecting piano, after a Rocksmith+ update.

• In Chord Chart or Bass Chart Arrangements, RS Tab on/off toggle can now be toggled by the RS Tab Button (in the lower-right corner of the pause screen).

Rocksmith+ Mobile

• A crash was fixed on the mobile app that would occur after a pause on the noteway, during the first-time tutorial.

• Audio detection is now supported when using the RS+ Connect app for piano.

• A crash that would occur on Android devices when "Subscribe" was selected from the store front was fixed.

• Subtitles now appear for the videos in the Skills tab.

• After using the Song Controller feature during a song, difficulty and accuracy now display correctly.

Major Known Issues

General

• The "Late" indicator does not always appear in the noteway when hitting a note late.

•  The Difficulty Target percentage numbers in Song Details do not always match the location of the difficulty slider.

• A soft lock occurs when rearranging the monitors while using 4K resolution.

• Flickering can be spotted on sustain techniques during gameplay on some PC models.

RS+ Connect App

• A crash occurs when the RS+ Connect app is brought back in focus after the mobile device is locked.

Audio

• Sound is distorted when launching the game with Dolby Digital and DTS as an audio connection, and when Audio Exclusivity is turned on.

Rocksmith+ Mobile

• On Piano, notes played in the wrong octave can be marked as correct.

• A soft lock, followed by a crash can occur when pausing and unpausing the tutorial, when connected with the RS+ Connect app.

• RS+ Mobile app may crash when used on a Google Pixel.

• Ubisoft Connect log-in screen is forced into horizontal / landscape view, causing the keyboard to overlap with most of the log-in screen.

• It takes more than 25 seconds to transition to the noteway on iPhone 7 Plus, and a black screen is displayed during the transition. 

• In Search, if you cancel the filter and display many songs, album art will not be displayed for some songs. 

• In the Play menu, some song queues may fail to load in.

• Rocksmith Workshop takes around 10 seconds to boot.
