In our latest roadmap update, we've got further insights into the development of upcoming features, ensuring transparent communication with all players. Each update and decision we've made takes into account various elements such as player feedback, the time allocated to ensure the quality of the features delivered, and more.
ROADMAP UPDATES
[OPERATOR] NEW DEFENDER
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
The first new Operator since the launch of Siege X will be joining team Rainbow in Y10S3. As well as a new gadget, this Swiss defender will also be bringing a brand-new weapon that packs a punch.
[MAJOR FEATURES] DUAL FRONT: NEW NEUTRAL SECTOR ASSIGNMENT & OPERATOR POOL UPDATE
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
We'll be introducing a new neutral sector assignment in Dual Front next season, with the Operator pool also receiving an update, providing some new strategic opportunities. To find out more, make sure you catch the upcoming season reveal.
[MAJOR FEATURES] NEW MODERNIZED MAPS
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
More modernized maps are coming. These maps updates will bring the same visual overhaul and destructible ingredients that you've seen in modernized maps like Chalet and Clubhouse.

[MAJOR FEATURE] SIEGE CUP: SCHEDULED EVERY WEEKEND + SQUAD STATS
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
Siege Cup, the highly competitive Siege experience, will be scheduled every weekend starting in Y10S3. Players will also be able to scout enemy squads before the match and see their top operators, potentially gaining the upper hand.
[BALANCING] MULTIPLE UPDATES
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
Y10S3 balancing changes will be shared in the upcoming season reveal on Sunday, August 17th, 1PM ET. Don't forget that we'll be diversifying a number of loadouts by adding one of our newer weapons to multiple operators.
[PLAYER COMFORT] ESPORTS TAB UPATE
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
The Esports Tab is expanding to give players an overview of tier 1 competitions. Dedicated pages will be added for all of them; to show which teams are participating, all scheduled games, their results, and how the competitions are progressing. The path and teams' qualification to the Six Invitational will be tracked on the Global Standings page.
[R6 SHIELDGUARD] SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
We are aware of the current situation and the recent surge in cheating. Our team is actively addressing the issues, with new initiatives and improvements coming soon to R6 Shieldguard.
[ANTI-TOXICITY] VOICE CHAT MODERATION
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
Voice Chat will be integrated into the Reputation System. This will result in warnings for toxic Voice Chat communication with repeat or extreme offenders being automatically muted. Players with a Reputation Standing of Respectable or higher will have the ability to report a flagged communication, voice or text, that they believe was mistakenly identified by our detection system.
[ANTI-TOXICITY] PRIVACY SETTINGS
- Status: Confirmed for Y10S3
Privacy Mode will be made available to console players in Y10S3. With this, an anonymous username will be generated automatically, helping protect your identity during matches.
[ANTI-TOXICITY] ABANDONMENT PENALTY IMPROVEMENTS
- Status: Delayed to Y10S4
Receiving an abandonment penalty due to a game crash or disconnection can be frustrating, and to this end our team is developing solutions to ensure that where possible, unfair penalties are cancelled.
[ANTI-TOXICITY] ADDITIONAL REPUTATION SYSTEM ACTION DETECTIONS
- Status: Delayed to Y10S4
The Reputation System will be updated to increase the amount of actions that can be detected and evaluated when calculating Reputation Standings. This will help give us an improved view of player actions and the impact that they're having on other players, while bringing further accuracy to Reputation Standings.
