RED MOON RISING EVENT

-TD2- News - -TUY8S3.1- Red Moon Rising-TD2 Red Moon Rising

A red moon has risen over the Dark Zone, and the Black Tusk have taken control.

During Red Moon Rising, Agents entering the PvE Dark Zone will face Black Tusk forces while dealing with strange alterations to their SHD tech. The longer you remain inside, the more Red Moon Stacks you accumulate, bringing a mix of powerful buffs and dangerous drawbacks as your stack count rises.

The buildup lasts only as long as your run. Death, leaving the PvE Dark Zone, or securing contaminated loot wipes your stacks clean. Safehouses give you a chance to pause the accumulation until you step back into the Red Moon.

REWARDS

Those willing to take on the Red Moon's more dangerous encounters can earn rewards from dedicated loot pools, including Exotics, DZ Named items, curated Named items, and Prototype gear.

RAGE HARVEST GLOBAL EVENT

Rage Harvest returns from September 29 through October 6, with enemies once again protected by Overheal that makes them tougher and more dangerous the more they accumulate.

Break through that protection to build Rage of your own, increasing your Weapon Damage, RPM, Weapon Handling, Critical Hit Chance, and Critical Hit Damage. The longer you keep the pressure up, the longer your Rage lasts.

IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES

PVP UPDATES

We're bringing another round of PvP-specific balance adjustments across Prototype Augments, Gear and Brand Set bonuses, talents, Exotics, and SHD Skills.

Improvements cover everything from damage and defensive bonuses to skill range, duration, cooldowns, and individual talent values. The new Vertigo and Sarru Exotics also receive their own PvP tuning.

If you want to dig into the numbers, the full PvP breakdown compares the previous PvP values against their updated versions.

MODIFIER UPDATES

Modular Plates

  • Reworked to provide a large amount of active and passive Shield regeneration instead of instantly restoring Shield health. This replaces the previous effect, which did not always trigger as intended.

Signed, Shield, Delivered

  • Activating the Modifier now also refills the magazine of your currently equipped weapon without consuming ammunition from your reserves.

ZODIAC LEGACY CLIMAX MISSION

Based on player feedback, we’ve made several changes to the seasonal Modifier resources available in the Nightclub: Zodiac Legacy Climax Mission.

  • Enemies that drop Canisters will now also drop 150 Munitions, with 12 Munitions drops available throughout the mission.
  • Starting the mission resets your Canisters and Munitions, then grants each player 100 Munitions and 12 Canisters.
  • Sample Size will be set to 800 when the mission begins. Players who previously reached a Sample Size above 800 during Y8S2 will keep their higher value.
  • Players joining a mission already in progress will not receive the starting Canister and Munitions grants but can still collect resources dropped by enemies.

GEAR AND WEAPONS

  • Changed Ember Engine's Spontaneous Combustion talent to not be applied through Pulse in PvP Environments. Secondary status effects applied alongside pulse such as EMP or Confuse, will continue to trigger the talent as intended.
  • The reconfiguration blueprints for Prima Donna and Steel & Sons ACR have been added to Inaya’s inventory. To. Make the corresponding blueprint available for purchase, you must own the item and have it in either your inventory or stash.

FIXES

Retaliation Project Chain

We’ve addressed issues that could prevent players from progressing through the Retaliation Project Chain. [TCTD2-7135]

Starting September 24, the Project Chain will return for one additional week with accelerated progression. Projects will unlock at one-hour intervals, instead of one per day.

All players will be able to complete the Project Chain again, including those who finished it during its original run, and earn its material rewards. The final Outfit Token can only be earned once. Players who already received it will not receive a second Token, while those who missed it during the original run will still be able to earn it.
