Operation Sand Wraith marks the beginning of a new chapter for Rainbow Six Mobile as the game prepares for its worldwide launch on February 23.

Kicking off one week earlier, this global launch season sets the stage with a desert-themed atmosphere, a lethal new Operator, and content designed to welcome players from around the world into the action.

The sands are unforgiving, information is everything, and every encounter can turn into a personal hunt. From intense duels to high pressure competitive play, Operation Sand Wraith defines what it means to survive in the heat.

NEW OPERATOR – DEIMOS

Deimos arrives as a cold and methodical hunter who thrives on isolation and control. Designed to turn any encounter into a high stakes duel, Deimos excels at forcing confrontations and denying enemies the safety of anonymity.

His unique ability, the DeathMARK Tracker, deploys a flying probe that locks onto one identified enemy. Once marked, both Deimos and his target gain constant awareness of each other’s positions, locking them into a tense duel. The effect lasts until one of them is eliminated or the duel expires, creating relentless pressure on both sides.

LIMITED-TIME PLAYLISTS AND EVENTS

This season brings back fan favorite experiences alongside new twists designed to keep every match unpredictable. Whether you are chasing bonus points or trying to survive with a target on your back, these limited time modes put the spotlight on aggression, awareness, and risk.

Most Wanted 3V3 – Week 1

The Most Wanted experience returns in a tighter, faster format built around smaller teams and nonstop pressure. In this 3v3 mode, the first player to secure a kill is immediately marked as Most Wanted and revealed to all players.

While marked, staying alive earns bonus points over time, but taking down the Most Wanted player also grants bonus points to the player who eliminates them. Every decision matters as survival becomes just as important as aggression.

Deimos Wanted – Weeks 2 & 3

In this chaotic twist on Most Wanted, there is only one VIP target but everyone is Deimos.

The first kill crowns the Most Wanted, granting bonus points every few seconds they remain alive. The rest of the lobby must use their DeathMARK Trackers to hunt them down, forcing constant rotations, ambushes, and sudden role reversals as players fight to steal the title for themselves.

3V3 Restaurant – Weeks 4 & 5

Fast paced and unforgiving, 3v3 Restaurant is back to offer a stripped-down Bomb experience focused on pure action. Three Attackers and three Defenders clash in compact matches that emphasize quick decisions, sharp aim, and clutch plays.

BATTLE PASS

Operation Sand Wraith introduces a brand new Battle Pass packed with exclusive cosmetics, progression rewards, and unlockables inspired by the season’s desert theme. Deimos is unlockable through this season’s Premium Battle Pass, allowing players to add the new Operator to their roster while earning a wide range of seasonal rewards along the way.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout Operation Sand Wraith, special events bring new ways to play and new rewards to earn. Each event offers its own theme, challenges, and reasons to jump back into the action.

Deimos Enlistment – All Season

Step into the action with Deimos Enlistment, a limited-time event built around completing challenges while playing as Deimos. Deimos is playable for free during the Deimos Wanted playlist, allowing all players to progress through the event and collect special rewards at their own pace.

Unbridled Fire – Weeks 1 & 2

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Unbridled Fire. Ring in the Year of the Horse with a festive event featuring limited time rewards and a celebratory atmosphere that brings seasonal flair to every match.

Mining Madness – Weeks 3 & 5

Mining Madness returns in Operation Sand Wraith. By completing event challenges during the active period, players can earn Obsidian, a rare material available through this event.

Obsidian can then be used in The Forge section of the Shop to unlock Dark Crystal weapon skins on select weapons.

Soaked Shamrock – Week 5

Saint Patrick’s Day arrives with Soaked Shamrock, a special event offering themed rewards and time limited challenges to keep the action fresh throughout the celebration.

Best of 7 Ranked – Every Weekend

Ranked Weekend Warrior returns, bringing competitive intensity back every weekend. Jump into a best of seven ranked format that rewards consistency and teamwork across multiple matches. Take on this recurring challenge to earn the Gilded Pack, which contains gold weapon cosmetics from the Gilded collection, and prove your skill in a focused competitive experience built for dedicated squads.

Weekend Fest – Every Weekend

Weekend Fests bring an extra layer of excitement to the season by turning weekends into prime time for progression. During these limited windows, special bonuses activate to help players earn more rewards simply by playing.

SHOP

The Shop refreshes throughout Operation Sand Wraith with new packs, seasonal cosmetics, and themed items. Keep an eye out for rotating offers and limited time content.

NEW FEATURES

This season introduces impactful gameplay updates aimed at increasing clarity, commitment, and lethality in combat.

Headshot Balancing

Headshots, except from shotguns, now instantly eliminate opponents and skip DBNO regardless of range. Critical Range still applies to body shots that result in DBNO, reinforcing precision and rewarding clean aim.

Drop Shotting Nerf

Drop shotting has been adjusted so that going prone and moving while prone now removes ADS. Prone is now a deliberate tactical choice rather than a reaction-based mechanic.

Dedicated Prone Button

A new HUD customization option allows players to enable a dedicated prone button. Instead of holding crouch, you can assign a separate input exclusively for prone, giving more control over movement and posture.
