It’s happening: Rainbow Six Mobile is launching worldwide on February 23, 2026!

Before we launch globally, we are running one more season to make focused adjustments and ensure the game is ready for everyone. Starting with this season, we are shifting to a more condensed one-month format to offer a faster rotation and deliver a better experience for players. Aside from keeping the content fresh, a shorter rotation also opens the door to introducing new Operators more often.

Your feedback has guided so many improvements throughout development, and we will keep listening and taking your feedback into account to continue improving and evolving the game with you long after global launch.
That ongoing work carries on with Operation Masquerade. Here’s a look at what’s coming this season.

NEW OPERATOR – CASTLE

Castle arrives this season with his fortified playstyle and tactical precision. His signature gadget is the Armor Panel, a bulletproof panel that can be deployed in windows and doorframes. It is far more durable than standard barricades and gives defenders the ability to reshape the flow of combat by controlling key entry points and slowing down enemy pushes. Castle invites creative strategies and offers new ways to guide how each engagement unfolds. He will be available through the new Battle Pass.

LIMITED-TIME PLAYLISTS AND EVENTS

Operation Masquerade brings a lively mix of modes. Each playlist puts its own twist on familiar objectives and invites players to jump into fast, high-energy matches built for quick bursts of fun.

Storm the Castles – Week 1

Storm the Castles transforms Secure Area into a compact 3v3 showdown where Castle steps into the spotlight. Compete to see who can capture the Zone from a team of Castles faster! His sturdy Armor Panels will make things feel like a true siege. Both Attackers and Defenders have the ability to respawn, so there will be no rest until the timer hits zero! In this mode, Castle will be playable for free and defenders can all pick him simultaneously. This limited-time playlist is all about creative defenses, clutch attacks and quick momentum swings where every reinforced window and doorframe becomes part of the show.

Invitational Doubles – Weeks 2 & 3

Celebrate the Six Invitational 2026 with an intense 2v2 Bomb mode on either Restaurant or Clubhouse. With only two players on each side, every decision becomes immediate and every duel matters. Teamwork stands out and clutch moments land with even more impact. Grab your best double and battle it out for the title of “Invitational Power Couple”.

Costume Parade – Week 4

Trophy Hunt makes its comeback with some maps offering this mode for the first time. Put on your most colorful cosmetics and compete to find out who can collect the most Trophies! Pick up Trophies from eliminated enemies to earn points and grab Trophies from fallen teammates to deny your opponents points. With all operators playable, get ready for one big masquerade celebration where each match is a chance to show personality and push the tempo.

Players who jump into these limited-time modes will also earn seasonal rewards as they play, making every match a chance to collect something new.

BATTLE PASS

A new season means a new Battle Pass filled with themed cosmetics, fresh weapon skins and an immediate unlock for Castle. The rewards follow the Masquerade style with expressive outfits and a blend of elegance and theatrical energy.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Seasonal events will roll out all season long, offering new ways to earn, squad up, and show off your skills.

Castle Enlistment

The Castle Enlistment event runs throughout the season and offers a series of challenges that reward players while inviting everyone to experience Castle’s defensive mindset.

Mining Madness

Complete event challenges to earn Obsidian, a rare material that can be collected throughout the event period. Obsidian can be exchanged in The Forge section of the shop to obtain the Dark Crystal skin on various weapons.

Best of 7 Ranked – Every Weekend

We heard how much you loved Best of 7 Ranked, so it is returning for weekend fests all season long. Community feedback made it clear players enjoy the tension and excitement it brings, and we are glad to make it part of the season again.

On top of that, Weekend Fest returns every weekend with rotating bonuses to help you progress faster and earn more. From Battle Pass XP boosts to a Thatcher Mastery weekend and Renown Revelry, each weekend brings something to chase.

NEW RANKED CHALLENGES

Ranked challenges return this season with a new set of rewards for players who want to climb with purpose. By completing the seasonal challenge track, players can earn an exclusive skin for Ash, giving ranked progression another layer of excitement.

NEW COMICS

Operation Masquerade continues the tradition of narrative content with new comics released throughout the season. Get a taste of the high life as Dokkaebi and Jäger crash a high class – and highly illegal – black market auction in the hopes of apprehending a shadowy arms dealer.

SHOP

A new lineup of skins arrives in the store during Operation Masquerade, bringing distinct looks that will let players refresh their operators in a way that matches their own style.

NEW FEATURE: GLAZ THERMAL SCOPE REWORK

Glaz is also getting some attention this season, with a refined ability that elevates his playstyle and makes him more reliable and impactful for his team in long range engagements.

While aiming down sights with Glaz, enemies seen through his Thermal Scope are now automatically marked for Glaz’s allies to see. The marker updates its position periodically as long as the enemy is in Glaz’s sights. This change allows Glaz to act more like a stealthy Intel operator when the situation is right, giving him the option to communicate enemy positions without giving his own position away.

The look of Glaz’s Thermal Scope effect has also been improved. The highlighted enemies are now better contrasted with the background and will match the enemy team color that has been set in the Accessibility settings.
