Hey Dancers! 

Season 2 is finally here, bringing you the ultimate Showdown of the Danceverses! With this Season come a few changes, here's the lowdown on all you can expect with Version 1.2.0!

Take a trip to the Season Page and you'll find that we've put up some new visuals in celebration of Season 2! Expect the page to change with each coming season, and get those dancing shoes on to earn 40 new rewards through the Season Progression! We've added some Emotes-based options in Settings, and brushed-up the Gold Move visual. We've also updated the ways you can sort songs in the Song Catalog!

Season 2 - Showdown

• Season page: Season Page has a new background for Season 2: Showdown.
  • Season Progression: 40 new rewards have been added for Season 2: Showdown.
  • Activity Page: Activity Page has a new tile and background for Season 2: Showdown.

Season Page

• Season Page: If there is a problem with the Season, a pause screen will be displayed to reflect the pause in the Season progression.

Progression Page

• Progression: The Progression bar now goes back to 0XP when you reach a new level.

Song Catalog

• Song Catalog: Songs can now be sorted by Effort or Game (e.g. Just Dance 2023 Edition, Just Dance 2022 Edition, etc.)

Leaderboards

• Leaderboards: Superstar and Megastar scores now have the correct colors in leaderboards.

Settings

• Settings: 'Emotes' section has been added in the Settings page:

• You can now switch off the animation of Emotes.

• You can now switch off the sound of Emotes.

• Settings: 'Reset to Default' button has been added in the Settings page.

Gameplay

• Gameplay: The Gold Move visual has been improved.

• Feed: The thumbnails for Season-related news now use the current Season's artwork.

Bug Fixes

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Other: 'VAR' and 'MISSING' text errors have been removed.

• [Nintendo Switch] Other: The Joycon illustration on the first login screen has been updated.

• [PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Home page: The infinite loading loop, which appeared after activating the free trial from the home page, has been fixed.

• [Nintendo Switch] Home page: The incorrect home page, displaying when a group of more than 4 players launched a song from the home page, has been fixed.

• [PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Home page: The player needed to restart the game to access the home page after purchasing Just Dance 2023 Edition, and it is no longer the case.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Gameplay: The absence of sound effects when a player scored consecutive gold moves, in multiple songs, has been fixed.

• [PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Gameplay: When a player launched a song from the "Something Similar" section in the song detail page, the audio from the previous song was present in the Coach's selection lobby, and it has been fixed.

• [PS5] Gameplay: The winner text overlapping the song name while in a group of 6 players on the score recap screen has been fixed.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Gameplay: The sound played when reaching a star has been fixed.

• [Xbox Series X/S] Friends & Groups: The "This session no longer exists" popup, appearing when an Xbox player sent a group request on a crossplay situation, has been fixed.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Friends & Groups: When consulting another player's dancer card, the right username is now displayed after "Ubisoft Username".

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Friends & Groups: 'Invite to Group' is now the first option available when selecting a friend.

• [PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Just Dance+: The Welcome gift Notification pop-up now appears when the player purchases the Deluxe or Ultimate pack from the shop.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Locker Room & Rewards: Multiple visual assets were missing in the locker room and are back.

• [Nintendo Switch] Locker Room & Rewards: The vertical scrolling is no longer slow for aliases in the locker room.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Progression: he objective 'Open To suggestion - 1/3' is no longer blocked for some players.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Navigation & Cursor: Some tracks no longer remain highlighted when the player is browsing through them in the Home Page.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5] Navigation & Cursor: The absence of sound effects while scrolling through the game tabs menu has been fixed.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5] Navigation & Cursor: The navigation cursor no longer flickers while scrolling through the game tabs menu.

• [Nintendo Switch] Navigation & Cursor: The navigation cursor, appearing at the wrong place after deleting songs from the local storage, has been fixed.

• [Xbox Series X/S] Quality of Online Services: Suspending the game and then returning to it does not display a "No Connection" error pop-up anymore.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Quality of Online Services: The song covers are no longer replaced by green patches in the songs credits after going Online to Offline while in credits.

• [Xbox Series X/S] Search: The incorrect display, appearing after a player did multiple searches in quick succession, has been fixed.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Settings: Multiple clicks were required to open the credits once the player had already gone through it once.

• [PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Song Details Page: Song video preview would sometimes not appear if a player launched a song from the "Something Similar" section in the Song Details page.

• [Xbox Series X/S] Song Details Page: "Something Similar" section did not appear on several Song Details pages.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Song Details Page: "All members need Just Dance+ to play this song" message was displayed on Song Details page for Free Just Dance+ songs in multiplayer.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Playlists: Ubisoft Logo was missing in editorial playlist pages.

• [Nintendo Switch] Songs catalog: The latest High Score was not taken into account in the sorting of songs by score.

• [Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S] Ubisoft Connect: Several "Core challenges" were not updated after completing the requirements in the Ubisoft Connect challenges.

• [Xbox Series X/S] Ubisoft Connect: Ubisoft Connect Page would get stuck when visiting it twice in a row from the profile tab.
