Following its release on November 13th, 2025, Anno 117: Pax Romana has extensive plans for its first year of postlaunch. A variety of DLC will expand your options as a governor and add both new challenges as well as new adventures. In addition, free updates will further enhance the game with quality-of-life improvements, new convenience features and more free content for the Hall of Fame.
These updates always accompany the DLC releases; we have prepared a full roadmap for Anno 117: Pax Romana's first year below:
Gameplay DLC
There are three DLC adding new gameplay content to Anno 117: Pax Romana this year. Announced last year, these DLC are included in the Year 1 Pass and expand the game world, add new features and challenges for you.
Prophecies of Ash (releasing April 30th)
In Prophecies of Ash, the region of Latium expands with new lands to settle on.
Discover the largest island in Anno history, where a natural volcano will challenge the way you govern with its different eruption phases.
By devoting your cities to Vulcan, a new deity, and using the new resource obsidian, you can build anew and come out stronger in the end!
The Hippodrome (releasing August 2026)
Build the Hippodrome - the grandest monument in Anno's history, inspired by the famous Circus Maximus.
Entertain your citizens with thrilling chariot races, welcome new specialists into your cities, and gain more prestige as a governor!
Dawn of the Delta (to be released November 2026)
Dawn of the Delta unlocks a brand-new province featuring vast deserts and a fertile river delta.
Govern new population tiers with unique needs and beliefs.
Balance Roman ambition with Egyptian tradition and expand your influence by worshipping new deities, commanding new military units, and more.
The largest of the three DLC for Year 1 will release in November 2026.
Cosmetic DLC
In addition to the gameplay DLC detailed above, we're also releasing three Cosmetic DLC in 2026 which expand your options in beautifying islands: mosaic groundplates, cosmetic walls, flowers, park ornaments and more invite you to bring even more life and colour into your cities in Latium and Albion.
These DLC do not have any gameplay impact and are not included in the Year 1 Pass.
Marvellous Mosaics (released February 19th)
Transform your city's heart into a vision of Roman splendour with the Marvellous Mosaic Pack! Design opulent plazas with over 30 intricate tiled ground designs and elegant walls and arches.
Celebrate the artistry of Roman mosaics with new skins for the Bathhouse and Forum, transforming your city into the envy of the empire.
Blooming Cities (releasing June)
The Blooming Cities Pack lets you build flourishing gardens and vibrant green spaces and flower fields with a variety of new ornaments, skins and systems.
Adorn your cities with a modular garden system, lush ornaments and the grandest cosmetic ornament in Anno to date!
Cosmetic DLC 3 (releasing September)
And then we have the third Cosmetic DLC planned for September. It's theme will be announced later this year.
Free updates
Throughout the year, free updates will further improve the game for everyone with various quality-of-life enhancements and features, these include amongst other things:
