This Week in The Division 2 - April 24

Season 1 – Shadow Tide continues for The Division 2: Warlords of New York with the newest Manhunt target, Saturn, spotted in NYC on Tuesday, April 21. Saturn, a former attorney by trade, is a rogue agent wanted for the shoot-down of a JTF helicopter, killing two JTF pilots and a SHD Agent. Your task is to bring her to justice.

As a reminder, Manhunt targets are each available from their reveal until the end of the Season. All Manhunt targets need to be taken down before you unlock the Prime Target near the end of the Season. Take down the Season’s Prime Target to unlock the unique skill variant EMP Sticky Bomb. Additionally, for the first week after Saturn’s arrival you will receive double SHD XP from all game activities for the first 15 levels gained.

Looking forward, the Home League will begin next week, introducing new challenges and rewards for you to tackle. Each League is open for 2 weeks and offers 10 new rewards to unlock.

Priority Alerts:

TITLE UPDATE 9

Title Update 9 was deployed on April 21 introducing the Exotic Reconfiguration feature and a large number of bug fixes. Full patch notes can be found here.

  • A list of Known Issues is available here.
  • Issues that currently are under investigation following TU9:
    • (Stadia) UI issue related to damage to health on Assault Rifle
    • Kenly College Technology Laboratory being blocked.
    • Coney Island, several progression blockers.
    • Firefly Skill not launching or sticking to the Agent’s hand.
    • Turret Skills not placing properly and immediately going on cooldown.
    • SHD Levels not showing in group UI.
    • Shield Skills and Assault Rifles not working together properly.
    • Not being able to start or finish the Angel of Mercy Contaminated area.

Work towards improved game health through bug fixing and balancing is ongoing. You can expect more status updates on this in the near future!

To celebrate TU9, all players who log in between April 21 and May 5 can claim the ‘Soda’ backpack trophy and 3 Apparel Cache Keys.

M1A CLASSIC RIFLE REBALANCE

The 40% damage reduction to the M1A Classic Rifle was not intended to be a final decision and was reverted to its TU8 PVE damage values earlier today.

  • The M1A received a 20% damage reduction in PVP only - for the time being.
  • We will be looking at the M1A as part of a more comprehensive examination on balance in the future.

The change will cause a UI issue for Stadia users, showing the incorrect damage values for the M1A until a client update can be deployed.

SEND-OFF TALENT REMOVAL

We resolved a bug that had kept outdated holstered talents in the game ecosystem. Holstered talents were removed from all weapons, and this was overlooked for the Send-Off shotgun. It was never intended for the Send-Off shotgun to keep its holstered talent for a weapon.
