With few options left, Sam Fisher calls in a legendary infiltration expert to join the fight — none other than Solid Snake. Attacking from the shadows, Solid Snake brings the covert TACIT .45 sidearm as well as his main gadget, the Soliton Radar Mk. III, able to display a map of the area and any hostiles present. Snake is also able to acquire secondary gadgets from fallen Operators with his On-Site Procurement (OSP) training. Read the Y11S1 Patch Notes below for full details.

Find nearby enemy threats with Solid Snake's Soliton Radar Mk. III, a handheld device with a minimap that marks any hostiles present. Use the device's precision mode to pinpoint threats, but be wary, as this will alert enemies that they've been detected by Solid Snake. The Radar provides a view of immediate surroundings, making it an excellent tool for recon that allows allies to lay groundwork and take map control quickly. While hunting down enemies, Solid Snake can also scavenge gadgets from fallen Operators to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the battle.

Toxicity reports now offer 16 categories to choose from instead of four, letting players be more specific in their reports and helping the moderation team better target sanctions.
The detection system is now more advanced and with greater context awareness. We've also updated the feedback to align with the newer system previously established by voice chat moderation.
If a team causes a match to be cancelled, any players from that team who are disconnected will get an abandon penalty and a queue penalty.
If a player abandons a match which leads to it to be cancelled, that player and their squadmates will receive a match loss. Other teammates who are not in that player’s squad do not get the loss.
This season adds modernized touches to Coastline, Villa, and Oregon, bringing updated graphics and lighting to these maps alongside new destructible ingredients and an overall health pass.
Players now have the chance to face off against another player in a public 1v1 mode in the Arcade playlist that offers online matchmaking. Settings and maps for this new mode were inspired by those favored by content creators and those picked most by players in the Custom Game 1v1 preset. This mode follows the same ruleset as Bomb mode.
Get ready to face off and see who's the best! The new Arcade mode will be active for a limited time from April 16 to 30 during Operation Silent Hunt.
To give players a more varied and dynamic landscape, the maps in Ranked will rotate. At the start of the season, Kanal, Skyscraper, Theme Park, and Outback will be removed and Emerald Plains will join the rotation. This change will decrease the total number of Ranked maps from 16 to 13. Midway through the season, Coastline, Villa, Oregon, and Emerald Plains will be replaced by Skyscraper, Theme Park, Stadium Bravo, and Favela.
Using the free cam with mouse and keyboard should be a smoother experience after a small optimization initiative launches this season. A new move-slow function can be remapped to an input of choice in addition to new options that adjust camera movement speeds and zoom behavior.
A recently redesigned Replay HUD launches new customization options so players can hide various elements to fit their specific needs and preferences.
Players told us that balancing shouldn’t come at the cost of fun or feel like endless nerfs. We agree. Our approach now goes beyond data so changes enhance gameplay without sacrificing enjoyment.
Starting in Year 11, seasons will feature four updates released every three weeks, alternating between major balancing updates with Ranked map rotations and smaller balancing updates.
Each season will also target a specific meta. In Season 1, we'll focus on entry-fragging and roaming roles. .
The v10 Pantheon Shells will move faster and hit harder in Year 11 with mobility and destruction boosts, plus reduced timers so Skopos can swap shells quicker.
Flores will receive the T-95 LSW to improve the flexibility of his loadout.
Vertical, Angled, and Horizontal grips are now available for the F2, making it easier to control the weapon's recoil.
Shield Operators (Blackbeard, Blitz, Montagne, Fuze, Clash) no longer can dash through undamaged barricades, lessening their ability to rush on their enemies and encouraging them to engage in combat from a farther distance.
Deploying an Observation Blocker is now faster (down to 1 second from 2.5), letting Defenders deploy quickly at the start of the Preparation Phase so they have time to focus on the rest of their setup.
The cluster flashes from Ying's Candela increases to 1.6 seconds from 1.4 seconds for more consistent entry.
Alibi's last ping from her Prisma does not disappear when the debuff ends, so the amount of pings is increased by 1 to create stronger intel pressure.
The concussion effect of Ela's Grzmot mines has a longer duration, up from 7 seconds to 9 seconds.
Amaru has 5 Garra Hook charges instead of 4, which improves her overall mobility.
After 3 seasons, the team has decided to bid farewell to Dual Front and refocus all attention on the core of Siege: 5v5 gameplay and the Ranked experience. Technology developed in Dual Front will be incorporated in the game, but Year 11 Season 1 will be the last time this playlist is available. As a final hurrah, there will be a brand new assignment and exclusive rewards to earn. We encourage everyone to hop in and take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate Dual Front before it's removed from Siege at the start of Y11S2.
The stealthy new Malware Containment assignment sees Operators tasked by Zero to take Eidolon's access key and control malware it grants access to.
Embark in a game of cat-and-mouse where you'll want to sneak past the automated cameras and be first to steal the access key. Whoever holds the key must shut down 5 active antennas before the enemy does, but move carefully and avoid being spotted — the key-holder can't use weapons, only the gadgets at their disposal. Zero advises enlisting the help of Solid Snake in this assignment. His ability to track nearby threats and replenish gadgets from fallen Operators will be an asset whether you're in possession of the key or trying to track down who has it.
Of the 6 total antennas, only three are active at a given time. The first team to shut down 5 will secure two thirds of an enemy sector as a reward.
There will no longer be a rotating Operator pool for Dual Front. All Operators supported by the game mode will be playable for the entire season.
All playable Operators now have an extra secondary gadget. If the Operator is an Attacker, the new gadget is a Defender gadget, and vice versa. 2.5x sight has also been added as an attachment to multiple weapons.
Securing an objective is no longer divided into 3 checkpoints. All progress is saved, no matter what. There are also more objective locations for added variation in gameplay.
Premium Battle Pass track will include two Black Ice Packs. These Packs contain Black Ice weapon skins in green, pink, purple, or red color variants.
Subtle changes are happening around Operation Silent Hunt. As new Operators appear, existing ones are becoming more accessible and receiving price decreases. Brava receives a discount and moves to 10,000 Renown, or 240 R6 Credits, followed by Deimos at 15,000 Renown, or 360 R6 Credits. Finally, we have Raoura going for 20,000 Renown or 480 R6 Credits.
GET MORE R6 CREDITSZero, Deimos and Solid Snake have been added to the conversation system.
