- What is cross-progression?
Cross-progression on For Honor will allow you to link your different accounts to synchronize different elements of your inventory on all the participating platforms (Xbox, PlayStation and PC). Cross-progression will also allow you to synchronize your Reputation levels and campaign progress across all accounts linked. - Do I need to purchase For Honor on other platforms if I want to have access to the cross-progression update?
Yes, since cross ownership is not implemented, you will need to own the game on each platform you wish to play. In case of any issues, please contact our Customer Support team.
- When will it be available?
The cross-progression update will be implemented on September 11th, 2025, at the launch of our Year 9 Season 3 update and will be permanently available after this date.
- What is going to change?
Currently, For Honor servers allow cross-play gameplay, ensuring you can play with other players on all platforms while having separate accounts for each platform. In addition to cross-play, cross-progression will now synchronize in-game content and progression across platforms. - What platforms are compatible with the cross-progression update?
Please note that a Ubisoft Connect account is necessary to proceed with linking your different accounts and only one account on each participating platform will be linkable. Here are the different platforms that will benefit from our cross-progression update:

What are linked accounts?
With cross-progression, your For Honor progression will be saved on your Ubisoft Account. A linked Ubisoft account is already mandatory to play For Honor on Consoles.

- How to enable cross-progression in For Honor?
Once you have updated your game after the launch of Year 9 Season 3, upon launching the game, a pop-up window will prompt you to proceed with the combination of the progress from your linked accounts into your Ubisoft account. Please note that after confirming, this process is irreversible. The pop-up will list your currently linked accounts.
We recommend linking all your accounts before accepting the prompt to avoid future issues. Please validate that the information shown in the pop-up is valid before accepting. You can refuse the prompt to go back to the start if you want to do any modifications to your linked accounts before proceeding.

- Will I be able to link an additional account if I start playing on a new platform?
If you want to start playing on PC, you can directly use your already linked Ubisoft account.
If you want to start playing on console, you will need to link that account to your Ubisoft account. Please note you can only have one linked account per platform.
In both cases, the progression will be synced on the new platform as well.
- I do not want to link my console account yet. Can I do it later?
No, however if you played For Honor on that console before the Year 9 Season 3 update, you should already have a linked Ubisoft account. If you do not have one, you will be prompted to link your account upon launching the game.
- I made a mistake and merged the wrong accounts. Can I update them?
You can unlink and relink your console account to a different Ubisoft account up to 2 times. However, the progress from that account will stay on the Ubisoft account that was linked during the merge.
If you unlink a console account from your Ubisoft account, you will never be able to link a different account from that same console, but you can still relink the same console account that you previously unlinked.

- Can I link two accounts from the same platform?
No, only one account per participating platform will be able to be linked with your Ubisoft Connect account during the cross-progression update. In case of any issues, please contact our Customer Support team.
- How do I unlink an account?

Once the progress has been merged, the progress from that account will remain saved on the Ubisoft account, even if you relink that account to a different Ubisoft account.
- Will Hero Reputation be shared across platforms?
For each individual Hero, all your Hero Reputation across your accounts linked will be added to become your new globally synchronized Hero Reputation. - Will campaign and Hero Tactic progression be shared across platforms?
The campaign with the furthest progression and Hero Tactic progression will be kept and synchronized through your linked accounts. - Is steel going to be shared across platforms?
The amount of Steel from each platform linked will be added together. Once synchronized, this new amount of Steel will behave as a single entity across linked accounts, meaning all purchases will be consistent and the steel amount of each linked account will be the same. - Are cosmetics (Loadouts, Skins, etc.) going to be shared across platforms?
Yes, your Heroes unlocked, barracks purchases, and Hero Skins purchased will now be available on each linked account. However, some in-game content purchased on 1st party stores may still appear as non-purchased when checked via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Ubisoft Store depending on where it was originally bought, even if the content is now available in-game. We recommend double checking any in-game content already purchased to ensure no double purchase of the same content is made. - Are achievements going to be shared across platforms?
Yes, once the cross-progression update is complete, your achievements unlocked will be shared across all platforms linked. They will be unlocked as soon as you connect to that platform. - Are Battle Pass progress/rewards going to be shared across platforms? How can I claim my rewards?
Yes, once the cross-progression update is complete, your Battle Pass rewards, and progress will be synced. However, please note that after the update of our Year 9 Season 3, you will only be able to claim your Battle Pass rewards on the account where the Battle Pass was initially bought. - Is duel rank going to be shared across platforms?
Yes, once the cross-progression update is complete, your rank will be synced across all linked accounts. Note that ranked duel will now be cross-play enabled. - Is my faction choice going to be shared across platforms?
Yes. If you have chosen different Factions when creating your accounts, the Faction that will be kept will be the Faction chosen on the account that accepted the cross-progression prompt.
- Will I be able to simultaneously play on several sessions of For Honor after linking my accounts?
No, if you launch the game on another linked account while it's already running elsewhere, the older session will automatically be disconnected. In case of any issues, please contact our Customer Support team.
