This Week in The Division 2 – October 2

SEASON 3 BEGINS!

Season 3 – Concealed Agenda of The Division 2: Warlords of New York is underway, agents! The first target, Shade, is out and the Shade League began on September 22. Now this week comes a new Global Event: SHD Exposed!

With SHD Exposed, your agent will build up Exposure, an incoming damage debuff, whenever you are in the line of sight of enemies. Exposure builds up faster while moving around in combat.

You can transfer that Exposure to enemies in several ways. You transfer all your stacks to a single enemy with a melee attack, a cover-to-cover move to transfer stacks to all enemies in an area, or you can eliminate an enemy with stacks to spread their stacks to other targets in the area.

Enemies take increasing bonus damage based on how much Exposure they have inflicted upon them. So, juggling your own Exposure while making sure the enemies are all covered is the trick of this event!

Be sure to check out our official Discord server, where you can find tips and tricks for the Global Event, or join up with fellow agents looking to bring the pain with SHD Exposed.

As with all Global Events, new challenges come out each day for the first 4 days of the event. Complete the challenges to earn different rewards, including the Target Lock patch, and Exotic Cache, and the Target Practice backpack trophy among other materials and gear caches!

SHD Exposed is the first Global Event with our new focus on mitigating negative modifiers in order to enhance a sense of player power.

Other familiar Global Events like Guardians and Polarity Switch were also changed with TU11 to better reflect this shift. You’ll be able to see the new changes with those Global Events later this Season.

PRIORITY ALERTS

Title Update 11 was released on all platforms on September 22 and introduced our new PVE Game Mode, The Summit, the Appearance Mods system, Discovery Mode for Operation Iron Horse, and much, much more into the game.

We conducted a maintenance on September 29 to address several issues, including a fix for the looping Manhunt video for PC players, a fix for your SHD level not appearing in the inventory screen, a fix for inventory screens not appearing altogether, and several others.

The maintenance also included two small changes for The Summit; an adjustment for how many waves of reinforcements appear, particularly on higher floors with 3-4 agents in a squad; and a reduction in the frequency of the SHD Crate objective.

We have a list of Known Issues that we are actively investigating. More information will be provided on these as solutions are found.

The Apparel and Legacy caches changed their respective loot pools on September 22. A different set of items is now available from these caches, so be sure to check what you’re missing and fill out your collection! The Legacy cache will become temporarily unavailable for the duration of the upcoming Apparel Event starting on October 6th but will return following its conclusion.

We recently published our Agent Highlights for the month of September, be sure to check out some of our favorite fan creations from The Division community.

The Season 3 schedule for Kenly College’s opening and closing dates is available on our forums. Check it out and save the date to snag the exotic Diamondback rifle!

That’s it for this week!

Until next time,
