Feature improvements / New features

General Mobile (FMG)

Font size of text displayed in dialog is increased on mobile and now it becomes more legible.

Search

Layout is adjusted to showcase more search results per page for both PC and mobile.
Font size is adjusted for music genre.
The ability to search by album title is added.

First-Time User Experience

The appearance of volume gauge was changed so player can tell the appropriate sound level more easily.
The unnecessary information (phrase banner, beat line, fret number, and text tips) were removed from the screen of FTUE Noteway tutorial.
Game options of phrase banner and RS Tab are hidden from FTUE Noteway tutorial as they are not displayed during the tutorial.
A new onboarding screen is displayed when players enter the Hub for the first time, describing the functionality offered by the various Hub Tabs.

Ubisoft Connect Overlay for mobile (FMG)

Ubisoft Connect can now be accessed via overlay for following features on mobile: Rewards, Stats and challenge, Auth and Login.

Major Bug Fixes

General

The health warning message has been updated with new official text.
The RS Tab and Settings buttons are now present in the pause screen.
Fixed an issue where the instrument display and the camera angle on the tuner screen were not displayed correctly, after playing a song from My Dashboard.
Fixed an issue where adaptive difficulty was not leveling down properly.
Fixed an issue where the first-time user tutorial would start again, when restarting the game without playing a song at the end of the tutorial.
Metronome volume is now available in the pause menu options for Guitar and Bass.
Bass Chart stats are now displayed correctly under "Over the Last 30 Days" in My Dashboard.
Fixed multiple issues involving tones, chords, synchronization, and musical accuracy, in a number of different songs.

Search

Artist link pages display songs and song details in the Search tab.
Fixed a softlock that occurred after returning to the search menu from the artist link page.
Improved the search by fixing an issue where irrelevant songs would appear when performing a text search with search type: All.
Improved the search filters and settings by fixing an issue where filters were not displaying all the appropriate songs in the library within the filters.

Song Results

Fixed an issue where practice recommendations were missing in the song results.
Fixed an issue in the song results where, the skills and chord that were encountered in the song were not displayed in the Skill tab.

Noteway

Fixed an issue where some notes were automatically considered hit on the noteway.
Fixed an issue where notes were not appearing correctly on the noteway.
Fixed an issue where the hit effect was not displayed for some chord notes on the noteway.
Fixed an issue where the incoming effect was not displaying for open strings in the noteway.
Fixed an issue where notes did not display as "hit," when they are hit correctly.

Instrument Connection

Fixed the audio input / note detection for Guitar and Bass using Real Tone Cable and WASAPI connection.
Fixed an issue where sound was not detected when playing instruments with a Real Tone Cable connected.
Fixed a softlock that would occur with the Real Tone Cable connected to the PC, where audio mixers or devices were not displayed.
Fixed an issue where audio wouldn't play when plugging in or unplugging audio device, while the game is running.

Mobile

Fixed an issue where navigation became disabled after tapping and sliding the difficulty target.
Help button is now displayed on My Dashboard in Rocksmith+ Mobile.
Fixed an issue in My Song Progress under My Dashboard where the UI would overlap when scrolling the list of arrangements.

Major Known Issues

General

A crash may occur after changing the buffer settings from the Roland Rubix Control Panel.
A crash may occur when Presonus Studio24c is connected.
The "Late" indicator does not always appear in noteway when notes are played late.
The difficulty target percentage numbers shown on song details and in the pause screen do not update accurately.
Softlock may occur when rearranging the monitors while using 4K resolution.
A flicker may appear on sustain techniques during gameplay on specific devices.

Rocksmith+ Workshop

An audio interface used with real tone cable will cause a conflict with audio exclusivity in Rocksmith+ Workshop.
Rocksmith+ Workshop takes around 10 seconds to load.
When dragging a tempo marker, the play head may move at the same time.

First Time Experience Tutorial

Game sometimes crashes after a long period of time on the "Which genres do you like?" screen in the first-time experience tutorial.

Rocksmith+ Tuner

A crash may occur when the Rocksmith+ Tuner app is brought back in focus after the device is locked.

Audio

In-game sound is distorted when launching with Dolby Digital and DTS when Audio Exclusivity is turned on.
When the default audio device is changed, there can be a crash.

Rocksmith+ Mobile

Ubisoft Connect login screen is forced to landscape mode, causing the keyboard to overlap with most of the login screen.
It takes more than 25 seconds to transition to the noteway on iPhone 7 Plus, and a black screen is displayed during the transition.
The sort function on the settings and the search screen does not reflect the current settings.
In the Search tab, if you cancel a given filter and display a large amount of songs, the album art will not be displayed for some songs.
The game does not utilize the full available screen space for the Ubisoft Connect login flow.

Notable Issues

Changing from windowed to full-screen mode in the Learn menu will cut off some of the options.
Ending a Playtest in Rocksmith+ Workshop will not reopen the Workshop tab.
The search results filter display reverts to "Song Name A-Z" after a song is played and exited.
