Assassin's Creed recently launched Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a renewed experience of Edward Kenway's adventures in the Caribbean, but that's not the only thing the brand has been up to. Fans can experience an exclusive collaboration with the fantasy RPG Watcher of Realms; experience Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced in new ways with a tech partnership; ask a historian about the French Crown Jewels; and more. Watcher of Realms Crossover

This August, Assassin's Creed journeys into the world of Watcher of Realms, a fantasy RPG that combines hero collection with strategic real-time combat. The collaboration brings legendary heroes Ezio, Kassandra, Eivor, Bayek and Evie to the dark fantasy land of Tya in an experience that goes beyond a traditional character crossover, featuring a brand-new storyline, gameplay inspired by classic stealth and assassination mechanics, and battles against legendary foes from the Assassin's Creed universe.

Longtime fans can also look forward to seeing beloved characters represented by the original actors behind Ezio -Roger Craig Smith- and Kassandra - Melissanthi Mahut-, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the adventure.

Philips Ambilight TV Partnership

Assassin's Creed and Philips Ambilight TV have joined forces to bring the worlds of Assassin's Creed further into the room. Through the end of 2027, Philips Ambilight TV will be the Immersive Gaming Partner of Assassin's Creed in Europe, with a shared ambition to make these worlds feel even more immersive for players.

Ambilight reacts to the colors on screen and projects them onto the wall around the TV, extending the atmosphere of the game beyond the screen. In Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Caribbean sunsets can fill the room with warm color, lightning from a storm can spread beyond the TV, and the flashes of a naval battle can make the action feel bigger and more cinematic.

The experience goes beyond Ambilight alone. Premium picture quality helps preserve the detail, contrast and colors created by Ubisoft's artists, while cinematic sound and smooth, responsive gaming help players stay immersed as they sail, explore and fight their way across the Caribbean.

Fans can expect more from Assassin's Creed and Philips Ambilight TV in the coming months, with joint activations and experiences across Europe bringing players even closer to the world of Assassin's Creed.

Echoes of History AMA

An upcoming episode of Echoes of History, the official Assassin's Creed podcast that dives into the real-life history that inspires the locations, characters, and storylines of the franchise, will feature an AMA section. The episode will focus on the French Crown Jewels, the recovery of which is a sidequest in Assassin's Creed Unity, and which were recently stolen in real life from the Louvre. The episode will air in early October 2026, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the robbery.

To submit a question about the jewels or a theory about their robbery, head over to the dedicated Reddit thread and post it there. A historian will select the most relevant submissions and answer them in the episode. Submissions areopen from August 4-30.

Heredis: Echoes of the Past

Heredis: Echoes of the Past is a new, wholly original live show with Assassin's Creed. Created by the 7 Fingers Troupe, the show blends acrobatics, parkour, theater, and history into a powerful new stage experience - and you don't need to have prior knowledge of the game series to enjoy the show. The story follows a young man travelling across history to find his lost father.

Heredis will have its world premiere in Montreal on December 3, 2026 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts. Then, in January, the show will move to Paris and begin performances at the Casino de Paris on January 21, 2027. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Music Collection

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launched with more than a revitalized adventure in the Caribbean; it also expanded the full iconic soundtrack of the original game, expanding its legacy across both the beloved sea shanties and its epic orchestral score.

To mark the occasion, acclaimed musical artist Woodkid lent his voice to a stunning reinterpretation of Leave Her Johnny, recorded for newly created cutscenes exclusive to Resynced, which is available on all music platforms.
