Hello Captains! We're back with another in our Community Spotlight series. Today we're showcasing content creator D3ATHWISH.
Hey D3ATHWISH, can you tell us a little bit about yourself? How long have you been a member of the Skull and Bones' Community?
D3ATHWISH: I have been a member of Skull and Bones since the first day of the open beta, I had kept my eye on the game and I love Ubisoft games, with the games I have played most being, The Division 1 and 2 then Rainbow 6 Siege.
SnB really caught my eye the only thing at the start that let me down was the lack of PvP.
What does Skull and Bones and the community mean to you?
D3ATHWISH: Everything!
I had been making videos non-stop up until Skull & Bones released, and believe it or not I was about to quit content creation the weekend of full release.
Why?
I had made every type of video and didn't get anywhere with them, I said to my Mrs I am going to give it my last shot upload a handful of videos on the Friday and if they don't work call it a day and go back to working in sales.
I put my phone down and didn't bother looking at stats as I thought I was just going to be disappointed again, I woke up Sunday morning and I went to my Mrs I said I wasn't going to check till Monday but for some reason I really want to check it now.... Little did I know my first video had finally taken off I had seen views in 24 hours that I hadn't even seen in a month!
From that moment onwards I haven't stopped making content for Skull & Bones even at its least popular moments because this game and community is super special to me!
What's your favourite thing about being a member of the Skull and Bones community?
D3ATHWISH: The gaming moments I have shared with the D3ATHSQUAD and being able to help hundreds of thousands of gamers a like in Skull and Bones with all my guides/tutorials and tips.
What advice would you give to a player picking up Skull and Bones for the first time?
D3ATHWISH: Relax, take your time and embrace every moment because this is only the start and it only gets better!
If you like games like The Division you'll love this as I call it The Division at SEA!
Tough question time, what's your favourite part of Skull and Bones? And why?
D3ATHWISH: Build crafting, I know the system we have in Skull and Bones is extremely limited we can't do much but before we had even less, I love to be creative and thinking outside of the box to create builds that absolutely dominate in every scenario, this is what makes the game not become stale for me, it was my favourite thing to do in the Division and now in Skull and Bones.
And the bonus is I can help out others while doing so!
If you could tell the Community anything about Skull and Bones what would that be?
D3ATHWISH: That we are getting the D3ATHSQUAD LOGO!
To give them teases about future possible releases to build more hype and to keep the community pumping ready for the next best thing!
And like a behind the scenes of skull and bones with one day "hopefully vloggin" where it all began as it means a lot to me and I would love to share that also with the community.

When I was younger I used to DJ on one of the largest radio stations live from a club in Spain.

I have played video games for as long as I could walk achieving top 100 in many competitive games.

D3ATHWISH the name originally came from the skateboard brand I use to love skateboarding and everyone said I had a Deathwish so I turned it in to my gamertag.
