First things first, even though many people are disliking the combat system and how they feel, I think it's pretty enjoyable. I would enjoy weightier and more impactful combat, but all things considered I don't think it's much of a downgrade from previous titles. I am however, having a considerable problem in some cities with framedrop. It gets pretty janky just walking around, and in combat the frames are so low it hurts my eyes. Using something like the helheim ability is out of question, because that ability already seem to have issues with framerate for whatever reason. I realize the game is also made for next gen consoles, but I also know that in next gens the game is meant to have 60fps, and current gens 30fps. I really hope Ubisoft works on optimization or some form of graphic compromise to make the busier cities be smooth, it's hurting the gameplay enjoyment considerably.
having the same problem, and I cannot go back on previous save because that is literally about 200 skill points ago. Hoping that once this thread gets more and more views and conversation, the devs take notice and fix it soon.
You would think if when the devs look at a glitch and try to fix it with a patch, they would actually fix the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't work. There is now a key that shows up with Odin's vision in front of the house in Lunden, but there still isn't a physical key for me to pick up, so I still cannot get the quest done.
@yangpaine
4.The cursed? music or battle? one with slow war drums, sometimes gets stuck in the game and plays forever.
I'm making a new thread just because the other one is getting long and old.
@yangpaine
soldiers are often alerted from whistling, but doesn't move to actually check the source, you practically have to sing for them to come near you.
after using feign death skill (level1), enemies come check on you, but will just stay right on top of the body, which doesn't seem correct.

a few more glitches / bugs report.
zealots with higher power levels automatically heal mid battle, so you cannot even challenge them at lower levels, which I like to do. in fact, one time during a raid a random high level zealot interfered, and I could not do anything because he was literally invincible.
in one of the accounts, dying automatically resets the tracking quest to "the huntress."
often times the doors that require assistance with raid, doesn't show the prmopt for forcing door open, I thought this was potentially due to enemies being around the building, but it doesn't seem to be the case in100% of the situations. also, some doors only show the prompt slightly away from the door, but not when you are in contact with the door.
after building the stable at ravensthorp, there's a white hairless horse....??? I'm unsure if this is a glitch or not.
Maximillian's house key does not show up during the quest in Lunden.
@yangpaine
more bugs
enemy weakpoints disappear occasionally during focus of nonir
assassinations grant 1 adrenalin as a default, which makes warrior takedowns pointless, since they are meant to grant 1 adrenaline as a tradeoff of alarming. I checked, and they don't fill 2 guages, so it must be a mistake somewhere.
confirm kills are very awkward and often doesn't show up until you shimmy a bunch around the body.
disabling gear visuals doesn't work for cloaks - they disappear, but if you put the cloak on for stealth in distrust areas, they show up again even after taking the hood off.
sometimes calling raids in-land calls the ship, but the crew doesn't want to get off the boat.
rage of helheim area in norway has 'area not available' sign in the cave, even though you can ignore it and get the book.
horse needs a jump off button or less blockoff like in odyssey, in valhalla every tiny cliff is impossible to move through with horse.
@yangpaine
additional bugs :
torches sometimes don't have the flame on
opening doors during a raid is painfully buggy and slow, alies often crawl very slowly even if they are nearby, and sometimes the open prompt doesn't appear.
found a random plain with 10~ish bears? I'm not sure if this is a glitch.
stories and songs on longships often doesn't actually happen the first time, and start when skipping to the next song.
light attacks don't break the locks on barred doors, which seems silly to be swinging weapons at a door.
following NPCs i.e basim / sigurd follows you close enough to block doors, and you can't move past them without rolling. you should be able to push them around at the least.
Jomsvikings have grey rune on top of their head, but this can be seen across very very far range. you can see their little circles from over 2km away, while they sit at ravensthorp
when pulling sliding puzzle pieces, the screen jumps to 1st perspective for a second then pulls back out.
Alvis' talks at ravensthorp repeats even after talking once.
bjorn gets 'unselected' from jomsviking crew list every reset
bjorn walks around ravensthorp as a 'recruitable' jomsviking, except you can't recruit him anyway.
I think it's pretty clear that AC valhalla is not super clean at the moment, just have to hope that the devs will pick up on them and fix them as we go. Regardless, I am enjoying the game a lot thus far, it doesn't feel bloated and boring as some others have criticized. I do have issues with the performances. I'm really hoping that in coming updates, devs will add more hairstyles & beards. I don't understand why there are so little options when they have even animated side characters with hairstyles they could just tac on. on top of that, a lot of the face tattoos that have a dark blue- tint rather than complete black, just looks muddy and not like they are sitting on skin. I find it odd since some other ones with darker tones look very nice and realistic. Also, stopping stories or song when there's any kind of raid opportunity is really annoying, since you can raid any battle camps even if you've completed them beforehand.
so far, of 50~60 or so hours played in 2 different accounts,
I've had 3-5 crashes,
issues speaking to randvi where there's a random zoom out before the conversation
canceling out of the conversation when talking to randvi about riding to grantbridge,
speaking to the fishing hut kid gets eivor to stand on top of the table for the conversation.
bjorn gets stuck and doesn't do anything during the way of the berserker final fight mission.
countless framedrops during busier screens / areas
defeating bosses in regions have glitched finishers, eivor just kicks the air after a pause, and they get knocked back.
