@wytune Well to be honest I do not really see the issue
But people with Darker/Black skin did actually travel to Scandanavian regions and settle mainly from countries in southern hemisphere and up through Europe.
The Term Viking is quite broad for example ....
Academically it simply means people of scandanavian origin or with scanadanavian connections whom was active in trading and raiding within and outside scandanavia
However the term Viking is commonly reffered to as seabourne explorer/adventurer
However in Old Norse language it means " a man from Vik " were scholars have hotly debated were Vik was located ( it is said Vik was a specific bay area in Southern Norway.
But the word Viking has appeared on Runes in both Noun and Verb form so it will be pretty small minded to claim the word Viking is specifically of people of caucasion skin tones

@cell1e I would say the other aspect is Odin is sight is welcomed return to the Eagle vison mechanic, I actually like the aspect of a challenge of using my sixth sense to scan my surroundings and plan my attack.
The last AC Game in my view that utalised Eagle Vision in an awesome way was Assassins Creed Unity.
I think this time round there is a perfect balance between using an eye in the sky and your sixth sense.
@california_dude The whole point of reducing the bird mechanic was due to the exasperating over reliance on it in Odyssey! its encouraging the player to be more strategic when utalising stealth when encountering bandit camps and forts.
Maybe this was not to everyones liking but I welcomed these changes.
@spidermonk111 Absolutely love the double assassination techniques but dont forget with a wrist blade it was Altair who inspired the idea of two wrist blades so I can see why this manourver was not put in the last 2 games and Valhalla.
I really liked the chain assassination in the Origins Odyssey and Valhalla but I agree it has its limitations and there is nothing better that Air Assassinating two unsuspecting targets.
@viem I think you have raised some very points here and yes level scallng should be an optional feature but worth noting that this is were upgrading your weapons and armour comes into the debate which will give the player the edge.
I have hit level 400 and started being awarded mastery points and I must say I have no issues in regions which required a specific power level.
I found the key to this was effectively using your abilitles and using the experienced travellers and cartographer in your settlement to identify were the books of knowledge are scattered through out the world.
Building my settlement and focusing on certain settlers to improve my feat buff before I went on raids to increase my raiders stats!
These things made the game enjoyable.
The only system that needs some kind of refining ( however I did find useful to an extent ) is the rune system from an organisation point of view.

you dont have to interact or talk to him simply wait for him to get up and follow him. But its advisable to do the following below before you attempt this world event

@asgardian02 Ok so you dont agree that regardless of the difficulty settings and customisable experiences the notion that level scaling is being forced upon the player is moraly wrong?
As I said it does not really bother me personally but I do agree on principle that it should purely optional.
@redw0lfalpha I love the game but I have raised 3 issues that I feel needs to be addressed from which I am certain the development team will address as them
@labattoir23 Do you know what it’s funny you should say that!
Im also experiencing music bugs but the other way around and it always seems to be the intense combat music or in Paris I recently experienced the raiding music did not stop playing when I completed the raid and left a monastery ?
Also when I am in England the sneaking ( infiltration music ) sometimes will not play during when I am sneaking into an enemy encampment?
But when I leave the area it will start playing and will not stop
@m9ita890 You have to progress through the Lunden Arc to get access

@meoneso Ive never seen this ?
how far are you in the Asgard Arc ?

@sam_boo26 its the art of a challenge, as I stated I want to be challenged!
But I am also very aware there are casual players that maybe dont want to move out of their comfort zone and opt for a laid back experience so optional level scaling should have been considered!
@leocamposbr I would actually hand over the medallions during the game.
Reasons being for this is that Hytham will gift you with abilities for when the set amount medallions required by him is received.
So for example when you start out your hunt and Hytham required 6 medallions give them to him as soon as you return to your settlement.
Once you have reported to Ranvi after completing the Hamtunscire Arc Hytham will be outside the Long House and will tell you about a letter he ceived which will lead you to the father.
Upon completion you will gain the

@viem This will be a petition I could certainly get behind, I have just finished the game and literally explored England, Norway, and Vinland in great detail however whilst I wait for the DLC seasons to start I am going to start another save file and play the game in Pathfinder mode.
Odyssey's imersive environments was beyond stunning and I thoroughy enjoyed the philosophical conversations with Socrates and found the focus on the ISU extremely refreshing. But as I stated there was an over reliance of Ikaros, it was far to easy to send Ikaros out to tag enmies then just quitely take them out.
Limiting Synin to just scouting out the lay of the land rather than telling you the exact position of guards was the right decision to make ( except for the very cool attack feature ) which I use quite a bit to distract other guards in the area.
Valhalla's world event quest system is a vast improvement of Odyssey's side quest system as it they never felt like you was running through a list of pointless and meaningless quests just to fill a gap in.
I like to be challenged and funny enough this takes me back to when Assassin's Creed 3 was released back in 2012 I seem to recall remembering players moaning about the lock picking system because it seemed to complicated coming from the Ezio games when you would simply approcach a chest and hit the ( B ) action button to open its contents.
Assassin's Creed Unity's combat system was in my view a lot to be desired for as it was a huge step from the traditional counter and attack routines we was used to in previous games as it forced you to use your wit and skill. Not forgetting the Nostradamus Enigmas was fun.
Games should challenge you.
