Another update!
The issue that was causing this has been resolved, and you should have access to your inventory again. If your items are not back, try restarting your PC or console, to make sure you have a fresh log-in to the Ubisoft Services.
If that does not get your inventory back to normal, please let me know in a reply to this post.

I would like to ask that everyone who is experiencing an issue with the Iron Tower and the associated quest to please open a support ticket with us, and attach a copy of a save file where you are experiencing this issue. For instructions on how to find your save file and get it attached, you can refer to our "How to report a bug in Anno 1800" thread!
Once you have your case opened with an attached save file, please reply to this post to let me know so I can get reports added to our investigation into the issues with the Iron Tower questline.

For anyone who has not already posted images, if you have screenshots of a Closer chest piece that was changed after TU 16.1 please post that along with a screenshot of the old stats if you have one available.

It's very likely that many of the older cache files would need to be fully replaced, but replacing your current cache with an old one shouldn't cause any issues with the game running. It may cause longer load times as files get replaced, however.
Hey there @squeekandbubble, like @SerjTargaryen that item is a placeholder item that is dropping a bit early by mistake. You can safely ignore it or get rid of it! Please note that if you keep it in your inventory it may get changed, replaced, or removed on our end in order to prevent any issues with the real item dropping later!
Hey there @Tuff_Nacho, we're aware of a few issues with the NinjaBike bag.
I can suggest a workaround to try and force the set bonus feature to work with anything. If you equip the bag or a set item and notice that the bonus does not activate, unequip both things, and then re-equip them and fast travel between DC and NYC. This should force the set bonus to activate!
Please keep an eye on the news section of the forums for any info about when the issues with the bag might get fixed!
