

Hey all! I go by Ubi-Perseids and if you can't tell by my profile picture, I'm a big fan of Daft Punk (and cats!) I pretty much like EDM in general but also really enjoy lo-fi, especially while working. :) My favorite Ubisoft game is definitely The Division 2. I have about 95 hours but there's still so much I have to learn and explore in that game still! I'm new-ish to the forums but have loved it so far and really hope I've been able to help some of you out.

We're currently experiencing a series of DDoS attacks, which unfortunately are a common occurrence for almost all online service providers. This may impact connections to our games as well as server latency, and we are taking steps to mitigate the issue.

UPDATE 5:00 PM EST: We are noticing improvements on Playstation and PC. Xbox is currently affected by an Xbox Live issue. Players on Playstation may be able to connect by opting out of crossplay. We'll post any further updates in this thread!

Hey there, @screwy72! Thanks for your patience while the team worked on getting this fixed. I can confirm that it should be resolved as of TU 1.5.2, released yesterday. Just to clarify, is the speedometer hidden for a few seconds after the event ends, or does it stay turned off and you have to reboot the game to get it working again? Since it's not officially supported, we wouldn't be able to provide anything specific to help get it set up. So sorry that the game is crashing on launch for you. Hopefully, the steps I suggest here will help fix this so that you can enjoy playing!
To start off with, I suggest making sure the game is installed on the same drive as Ubisoft Connect and Steam. It’s unlikely, but having the game installed on a different drive can cause the game to not load up. You’ll also want to be sure that the drive you’re installing the game/launchers onto has plenty of room. If the drive is at 90% capacity, the game will have trouble running in an optimized state. Once you’ve done that, please clear the Ubisoft Connect cache and then also try running both the game and launchers with administrator rights. After that, I recommend running through our PC technical troubleshooting guide, which will fix many of the common causes of technical issues like this. I'd also suggest going ahead and verifying your game files as some files may have been corrupted during the download/installation of the game, and could be causing this issue to occur. If you still have any issues getting the game to launch after trying these steps, please let me know! Thank you!
