Hi,
Thank you very much for your post. At the moment the team is collecting all the data from various sources such as in-game, forum posts, social media etc. and then make an educated decision on what to address. We have still stuff incoming and are reading and collecting it accordingly. Please hang in there until we have more news to share on our official website or social media channels.
Thanks,
Ubi-Barbalatu
Hi,
We will share more information about the feedback and changes to the game very soon. The various teams are currently working on it. Please hang in there.
Cheers,
Ubi-Barbalatu
Hi,
Changes to the game will happen, but it takes time to prepare a statement or in this case a dev blog with more insights. It will come, don't worry, please hang in there.
Thanks,
Ubi-Barbalatu
Hi,
The team collected a lot of feedback and are discussing the next steps. As soon as we have more to share we will come back to you.
Thanks,
Ubi-Barbalatu
Hi everyone,
Thank you very much for your interest in the Technical Test. Unfortunately this is not an application thread. We will keep you posted once we invite more players to the test in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Ubi-Barbalatu
Hi,
We are currently working on the dev blog for Research and it is currently scheduled for October - this should contain plenty of information on how Research was changed and what you can expect now.
The next dev blog - currently scheduled for next week Thursday (29 September) will contain information about Tools
Cheers,

Hello everyone!
We'd like to clarify a few points that could be misunderstood.
The team is working at plenty of new surprises that we will share over time, as we introduce them to the game as well.
The food article is posted to renew our transparency; it is the same as we shared in the TTS forums.
As we stated, this is the start of a long communication plan. There's more to come!
We're happy to receive feedback on each step, and we'd like to take the opportunity to answer some of the points raised.
The technology used to generate maps has not changed. We have added, on top, the possibility for individual fixed, beautification and balancing passes.
We still use procedural map generation. We chose the manual finalization because it provides a better, more memorable experience overall.
On the topic of farms and individual hex occupation for them, we vied out of that due to the random factor.
We did not want players to rely on luck to not have key hexes blocked by farms or ranches.
While manual farm spot selection is still up for consideration, there are more pressing matters for us to work on.
It's important to note that Anno and The Settlers are two different games with two separate identities.
Differently than in City Building games, where the player serves the citizens, in The Settlers the citizens serve the player!
The Settlers will always have City Building elements as a unique part of their games.
We hope you accompany us as we share more and more news with you.
We welcome the conversation with players and are happy to give answers whenever possible.
With love,
Your The Settlers Team

Hello everyone!
Thank you for your posts!
We'd like to answer some of the points raised by you.
The farm fields will continue being part of the building. In older The Settlers iterations, the room available for buildings was more spaced, and the buildings were generally smaller or without special shapes. In our case, fitting the right buildings in the right spots is key. If farmers went out and took very specific or random hexes from the player, placing bigger buildings in our tighter maps would become either impossible or dependent on luck.
Every skirmish map now has neutral opponents distributed at all chokepoints, to the point that players cannot attack each other without first defeating these.
This food system itself has remained largely unchanged from the Beta. We're working on many other systems that were either missing or just not working. For food, we can always rebalance, change requirements, and create different needs in other sectors of the economy.
We will continue sharing news with you, and we're happy to talk about our work, together.
Best regards,
Your The Settlers DEV-Team
@ThEoNeDITTLI Your email that you used for your Ubisoft Connect account.
@c64-fan Hello. Only a small number of people who participated in the Closed Beta were invited at the current time. If the team sees the need to invite more people, we will expand the number of players as mentioned in the news entry.
Thanks,
