Thanks for the proposed fix. The fact remains that we should not have to do some back end fix ourselves. I work in I.T. and if we present this to a customer we would get fired from the project. This seems to be the same problem they have had with Origins. My OS drive does not have the room for other files and nor should it, Its for the OS. Stop releasing half baked MVP (Minimal viable product)

Game gets as far as AC Valhalla splash screen and no further.

If this is the same issue that Ubi Soft had with Origins, meaning that the game has to installed on the same drive as window then they really need to do a better job. Most people he there OS on a separate drive for a reason. It 2020 people have multiple drives for security and speed. fix this.

we should not have to do this. Its should work. How is it that so many of us have this problem and the only fix is an exercise in intermediate windows skills. Also you cant even put in a customer service ticket.
