

Never mind. The new 1.2.0 patch has fixed this issue.
Anyone? I'd really like to be able to play this again!
I've just updated to the latest patch and now I can't load any of my save-games (tried numerous), start a new game, nor run the benchmark. attempting to do any of these results in the game being stuck at a black screen with music playing. It never progresses from there (I've left it sit for half an hour!).
I've tried deleting and re-doing my settings (including reverting everything to LOW), setting the .exe to run as Administrator, updating Nvidia drivers to current, verifying files and even uninstalling, searching for any remaining Valhalla folders or files and deleting them, then performing a complete re-install. Nothing works. It was running fine before the 1.1.2 patch.
Also - I've tried to contact support (via support.ubisoft.com/en-AU/Cases/New ) but it won't let me. As soon as I select "Technical Support" from the menu the "Submit My Case" button disappears and I'm left with a message then saying chat is unavailable and to use another support method, but it gives none..!
Specs = Windows 10 Pro, i78700K (not overclocked), MSI 3080 Suprim, 32GB RAM.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Watchdogs Legion is also installed and runs perfectly (in case that has a bearing on anything).
